i rode this today it's awesome, i loved it the best parts are when it goes upside down, and when you go down, you fly off your seat, the only thing i hated was how long you have to wait, i waited in line for about an hour and a half

I love Tampa Bay because it is hard to brand for the big marketing companies. There are many large companies that showcase the features about our bay, but they failt to bright light to the best benefit of our Tampa Bay, and that is the people that live here. I just rode it at the sneak preview night!! It beats out everything else they have! The one thing this POV does not capture is the acceleration before the hills. This coaster is so smooth and the track is so sleek that it adds another element of adrenaline into it :) Two thumbs way up! Three if I was a mutant!

It is odd that it has just one inversion. Modern coasters usually have either multiple inversions or none. Mostly due to the type of restraints the coaster will need.

Busch Gardens Tampa gets all the good rides. Busch Gardens Williamsburg always LAG and SLACK on building new rides and roller coasters. They get a Maverick-esque ride and we get Mach Tower, thats some bull.

@linkaqt1 well at 0:28 it does the heartline right, but yes that is the only inversion.

ive found that a roller coaster that doesnt go upside down doesnt make it boring. sometimes they can be better than looping ones actually!

in fact only 3 coasters in my top 10 go upside down - maverick, storm runner and raptor.

the rest, top thrill dragster, millennium force, kingda ka, intimidator 305, nitro, superman ROS and superman escape do not go upside down. i reckon this rides going to be crazy.

To anyone who cared to read any of my comments in their entirety, I am not saying it is RCT3, because that may or may not be true. It certainly isn't NoLimits, as the graphics are too different. I'm aware of the professional version of NoLimits, and I know that Ol would not use a completely different graphics engine for such a small number of users. This would obviously bring us to a different program not commercially available. Perhaps its a rendering by Intamin, perhaps not.

@insanedrummerx27 to answer your question from a nerd in the coaster industry, this is by far not rct3 engine. this, like many other press-released povs and offride shots of a new coaster to a park, is done in a program called 3Dmax. It's a professional development tool used to showcase many soon-to-be aspects of a coaster from scenery to terraforming. Busch Gardens added some video effects to make it stand out more, but check the animation for Maverick at CP, its virtually the same animation

@porky484 Well this appears to be a RCT3 rendering of what it would look like. I know the track does not appear to be set pieces, which would point to a No Limits like simulator, but the graphics and sun behavior point to RCT3 with the CTR creator.

...anyway. My point is that problem spots may not be as bad as this probably hastily put together rendering represents them as.

I did not say that Intamin uses RCT3 to design rides.

You should take more time to read what people have to say.

I mearly mentioned that the graphics behaved very similar to RCT3 and that they are unlike those that the NoLimits Simulator, which many parks do use to showcase new rides. It is possible to achieve this rendering in RCT3, with the CTR Creator and such, but it is more trouble than it's worth.

Again: Read, think, read again, think more, and then speak.

I addressed that in my post. I don't really know why you would need to tell me this. Your point of view may not be correct either as it stands. Your view is based on conclusions you drew, most likely, on the smooth track, much better scenery, etc. I said "It appears to be...", not, "It is..." If you're familiar with the CTR Creator, you can now make custom track, and you've always been able to make scenery for RCT3, making my notice of the possibility of it being RCT3 plausible.
