My Aunt is batteling breast cancer right now, she was told 6 years ago she had breast cancer, went threw chemo and had one if her breasts removed as well as her limpnods ( not sure how to spell that ) she was cancer free for 3 years but it came back and she's been fighting for almost a year. I pray everyday that she will get better and for a cure! You never really know what it's like to deal with somthing like this till someone you love has it.

Maybe someone reading these comments will realize that their life isn't all that bad. they might look at their family life, no matter how bad it is, and thank God for blessing them. My uncle passed away from cancer on the day i turned 17, I'm not closed to my siblings to the point that i don't know all of my uncles nor their childrens, the day i found out he was sick is the day i memroised his name :). we got closer with him when his sickness got stronger, but unfortunately i couldn't see him before his speart lift i went out with a friend of mine since it was my birthday and when i returned home he died. rest in peace uncle
It's not just cancer. It's about everything, every disease, everyone feels the song in a different part of his heart .. it hurts me to see my father, he is invalid for 7 years, but he is my hero .. he never gives up and he's stronger than every healthy man I know .. I love you Dad♥
It's everywhere sadly. And you can hardly find a person who hasn't been affected by it in some way or other. All you can do is either help them through the long road to recovery or else help lessen their pain if it's terminal. I hope to god a cure can be found soon. It would save so many families the heartache of losing someone close to them :(

I just had a very distant relative die from cancer... I hardly knew her at all but to my parents she was a very dear friend... I wish I could've known her more cause she was only 2 years from my age...TT^TT
to me this song isn't about cancer its about regrets that you can't help someone or you noticed that they were hurting too late. so all you do is tell them that you will be there for them. and that when the worst happens you do what ever you can and more to help them i know that it was writen about someone with cancer but that is how i see it

Well Guys this is an undescribable song...just don't let you go too much. Everyone of us has already lost something which is really hard for them but try to live your lifes. Make the best out of every situation and keep the hope and trust in your hearts. People don't just die...they live on in us because we can keep them alive through our love. Thats it.

My cousin was diagnosed with was leukemia when he was 5...thankfully he won the battle and was put into remission when he was about 9...he hasnt gotten it since....this song was basically how I felt then even though I may not have been fully aware of it at the time...thank you simple plan for the support and amazing music :)

I have had three Uncles pass on from various types of Cancer this last year, and my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about two years ago, at the same time my dad was in the hospital for other reasons and he nearly died twice, luckily my mom came out of her fight Cancer free. Thank you guys for donating the proceeds to help fight Cancer. It is much appreciated.
my mum works alot and she's never at home ...my father lives an half hour away and i see him every second weekend, well i try to.and there's my nan she takes care of me but she's ill. if she doesen't help me i have to do everything alone at home because my stepdad, who i hate, doesn't help me much. but no matter what i do everybody always tells me that i'm not good enough...and last week my grandad died i miss him ;( thax if you read...=)

I am now in remission and almost 5 years later and ive beaten it and am almost medically cured of all cancer...this song is truly what it means to be a warrior....gave me strength to fight the very thing that was killing me. And he survived (I'm so lucky about that). But the fourth time, it came back stronger, and he died. I was seven and my mother was pregnant of my little brother. My brother has never even seen my father. But I am alive. And I know how great that blessing is. I'm gonna live the happiest I can. That's my story.

@Fjuhhhh yea i know the feeling man...i went through a year of hell fighting testicular cancer. lost a nut and a chunk of my left lung. been in remission for almost 5 years now and am not scared to say that everytime i hear this song i break right down......both my grandparents had cancer.one a few times and the other passed away not too long ago from very aggressive cancer.its a true blessing to be alive and I am grateful that my chemo treatments went as well as they did. i was def a lucky one

My grandma had a brain tumor about three years ago and i didn`t think she would make it. Thankfully she is alive today but since the tumor was be hide her ear she lost hearing in that ear. A now every time i hear this song i think of how god saved her.

@LoLifant Has it ever occurred to you that maybe they just want to pass a message on to someone? Because they don't want people to make the same mistakes as they did. Maybe someone reading these comments will realize that their life isn't all that bad. they might look at their family life, no matter how bad it is, and thank God for blessing them. So just shut the fuck up and let them talk. They're doing this so that others don't suffer the way they did.

My uncle passed away from cancer on the day i turned 17, I'm not closed to my siblings to the point that i don't know all of my uncles nor their childrens, the day i found out he was sick is the day i memroised his name :). we got closer with him when his sickness got stronger, but unfortunately i couldn't see him before his speart lift i went out with a friend of mine since it was my birthday and when i returned home he died. rest in peace uncle

It's not just cancer. It's about everything, every disease, everyone feels the song in a different part of his heart .. it hurts me to see my father, he is invalid for 7 years, but he is my hero .. he never gives up and he's stronger than every healthy man I know .. I love you Dad♥

It's everywhere sadly. And you can hardly find a person who hasn't been affected by it in some way or other. All you can do is either help them through the long road to recovery or else help lessen their pain if it's terminal. I hope to god a cure can be found soon. It would save so many families the heartache of losing someone close to them :(

to me this song isn't about cancer its about regrets that you can't help someone or you noticed that they were hurting too late. so all you do is tell them that you will be there for them. and that when the worst happens you do what ever you can and more to help them i know that it was writen about someone with cancer but that is how i see it

Well Guys this is an undescribable song...just don't let you go too much. Everyone of us has already lost something which is really hard for them but try to live your lifes. Make the best out of every situation and keep the hope and trust in your hearts. People don't just die...they live on in us because we can keep them alive through our love. Thats it.

My cousin was diagnosed with was leukemia when he was 5...thankfully he won the battle and was put into remission when he was about 9...he hasnt gotten it since....this song was basically how I felt then even though I may not have been fully aware of it at the time...thank you simple plan for the support and amazing music :)

This song has helped so much throughout the past year. I have had three Uncles pass on from various types of Cancer this last year, and my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer about two years ago, at the same time my dad was in the hospital for other reasons and he nearly died twice, luckily my mom came out of her fight Cancer free. Thank you guys for donating the proceeds to help fight Cancer. It is much appreciated.

my mum works alot and she's never at home ...my father lives an half hour away and i see him every second weekend, well i try to.and there's my nan she takes care of me but she's ill. if she doesen't help me i have to do everything alone at home because my stepdad, who i hate, doesn't help me much. but no matter what i do everybody always tells me that i'm not good enough...and last week my grandad died i miss him ;( thax if you read...=)

Aside from this, the rest of it, we all deal with. Life is always a test and it can seem overwhelming at times, but like the old axiom says 'What doesn't kill you makes your stronger'. Don't give up just because of a little trouble at home.

@suarezampy wow yea its a real struggle. i was fighting testicular cancer for at least a year b4 i was diagnosed..... I am now in remission and almost 5 years later and ive beaten it and am almost medically cured of all cancer...this song is truly what it means to be a warrior....gave me strength to fight the very thing that was killing me. Thumbs up to anybody who has fought it and won the war and condolances to everyone who died from it and their families......

I'm not going to try and get top comment but this song is about Pierre Bouvier's (The lead singer of Simple Plan) brother who was diagnosed with a type of cancer, how the hell can you dislike this!? Have some God damn respect! This song is full of emotion, feelings and sooooo much more! It was hard enough for them to write the song feeling like they did, then making the video for it was just as hard! HUGE respect to Pierre Bouvier and Simple Plan as a band for writting this song!

After fighting for 5 years, my absolutely amazing mother died of cancer.. </3
She tried so hard, never gave up. Went through 4 types of cancer, multiple surgeries, chemo, radiation, I didn't think a person could actually physically do what she did. She is an inspiration, I will never meet anyone as amazing as her. On her death bed, she whispered "CANCER SUCKS" over and over. She didn't deserve to die. She brought so much happiness and joy to EVERYONE. Cancer does suck. RIP mom, I love you. <3

No one cares about my story, bacause they don't know how to react. My two grandparents died of cancer. My aunt died of cancer. My dad had cancer. Three times. And he survived (I'm so lucky about that). But the fourth time, it came back stronger, and he died. I was seven and my mother was pregnant of my little brother. My brother has never even seen my father. But I am alive. And I know how great that blessing is. I'm gonna live the happiest I can. That's my story.

@Fjuhhhh yea i know the feeling man...i went through a year of hell fighting testicular cancer. lost a nut and a chunk of my left lung. been in remission for almost 5 years now and am not scared to say that everytime i hear this song i break right down......both my grandparents had cancer.one a few times and the other passed away not too long ago from very aggressive cancer.its a true blessing to be alive and I am grateful that my chemo treatments went as well as they did. i was def a lucky one
