I have a hypothesis, Monster Hunter don't have too much popularity out of Japan, in other words, Monster Hunter really NEED TO BE POPULAR OUT OF JAPAN, or Monster Hunter Frontier will never be released in America, and that's bad for the people that really like this game, like me.

@EspadachinLagiacrus They ported Fronteir to the 360 and hinted at it coming here, so it probably will. but there will be a monthly subscription unlike tri. Its seperate from your live charge as well.

If the release of this for XBOX 360 and Tri for the Wii are any indication it seems that Capcom is not willing to develop a Monster Hunter for the PS3.

Of course you still need one to play the Freedom games online if you're not computer savvy enough to use Xlink Kai for your ad hoc needs.

um, the level system in full online MH, (i think tri and frontier), is pretty much like an ol' mmorpg, just change them to Hunter Level and you can't acquire HRpoints by simply killing mobs, you have to complete quests (i think frontier's lvcap is 999?)

mh portable, mh portable 2nd, mh portable 2ndG are for PSP

mh freedom, mh freedom 2, mh freedom unite, basically the same for PSP but for eur and us regions

mh tri for the moment for wii only (rumors portable is in work, i dunno)

mh frontier is for pc and xbox (released recently here in japan)

mh frontier can't be played offline, thus it currently updates for good stuff

Just search on google Monster Hunter Frontier Account Creation guide. But the Japan Monster Hunter Frontier is a pay to play game. There is also a korean version thats Free to play but the account creation is a pain in the ass to do due to magic numbers. There are guides everywhere you just got to search. As for the how do you read the japanese words. There are guide for that as well, key words like Kut-Ku and the Japanese spelling for it. You just have to remember the symbols, which is not bad.

Sure he looks easy at the beginning, but when he is calm he is easy. When he starts raging you better watch out. Just about every attack he has will poison you. If you get hit with a purple fire ball, if it doesn't 1 hit kill you it will paralyze and poison you. This monster doesn't fuck around D:
