i put the opening_plugin into the vsh file thing...then when I tried to test out my gameboot I created...the home menu was just standing there for like 2 minutes and nothing was happening...so then I turned off my psp...and now it won't even turn on...god fucking damnit...what did I do wrong here...
@affehl316 Ok that happened to me too, but i figured something like that would happen and made another copy of the opening_plugin. If you have this problem, first figure out your psp firmware, then go to endlessparadigm (google it) and on the top right bar search power tools and click on the topic that says power tools. Then scroll down till you see your firmware and download it. After that just replace all your rco with the one you just downloaded and you should be able to ues editor
when i opened RCO editor, it said : invalid RCO - you must use a decompressed (FW 2.60 or lower) RCO! (Z33's resurssiklunssi should be able to do the job for you :P)
my FW is 6.20 PRO B5 pls help me, my gameboot is only 2 secs
Hey, im using a 3 second gameboot, and yet even though i have it set up the way i want and it plays perfectly... theres still a delay from where the clip ends/freezes and where it fades to black.
If I make the delay like 10 seconds and then use a 5 second gameboot, what will happen? Will the delay still last for 5 more seconds after the gameboot is over or will it automatically cut where the gameboot ends? (just so I wouldn't have to always set the delay to the exact length of the gameboot)
i'm gonna solve the prob. "y can't i find opening_plugin.rco in 5.00" that's becuzit's hidden u have to show it..and i ain't gonna say how cuz it's a bit of a looong writing..so imma leave for smbody else to help yall maybe he has a shorter way
Need better instructions, I'm rocking a psp 3000 with ChixkHEN r2 and I have a custom boot, works great but ends about 3 secs too early, I need to make the boot 7 seconds long, have any tips.
Weird problem, I couldn't find the opening_plugin.rco in my flash0/vsh/resource folder.
I also tried making a short gameboot using your other video yet when I try using it, I just get a white screen with the PSP logo on it when I start a game.
I made sure to follow steps exactly and repeated 5-6 times the whole process.
Using a PSP2000 Slim Series with 5.00 m33-6 CFW.
Regardless, thanks for the guide, but I hope you can help me further with my problem.
wow lots of people have the invisible rco files now a days....no one knows man even i tried asking but theyre all clueless, just download a complete decrypted rco files for 5.00 you can find around in google
I copied the opening_plugin.rco in my psp and put it in the pc. Everytime i choose Open Rco and pick the opening_plugin it says "Invalid Rco - You must use a decompressed RCO!". What should I do??
Because RCOs on your PSP are not compressed. Google the download of compressed RCOs for your firmware and you should luckily find the decompressed one if your firmware is not too old.
PLZ HELP ME! Ok first when i press Open RCO the opening_plugin.rco file was not there. So what i did was go to my psp umd mode and went to the Root then TM/150/vsh/resource and got the same file from there.Opened it did the changed third Delay from anim_gameboot_movie @ 0x1E44 to 9050 because my gameboot is 9 sec....so then i save exit everything load up a game and gameboot still about 4 sec long WTF?
you need the rco file from the flash0 not in the time machine or TM. go to recovery mode first and toggle usb flash0. then get the opening_plugin.rco there.
on mine when i put along game boot is says i nedd 527 kb when i have 12gb free

@sarkasmi83 It will repeat the gameboot so better estimate the length of it.
