Very happy to share an experience like that. That poor shark didn't know what it hit. If you slow the shot down, the look on the shark's face is priceless. That was one of about four similar attempts by those duskys to take a closer look. It was the whales I was more concerned about. You don't have much chance if one of those happens to not see you there.
You bet. One guy told me this morning that he thinks filming sharks is like being a political journalist! I replied that it is far more safe.............
