You're right. We had Pontiacs with Chevy motors. 396 Beaumonts, 350 Acadians. and the Canadian version of the Pontiac Bonneville which was the Pontiac Parisienne with 409's, then the 396, and finally 427's. Interesting how GM kept their costs down in Canada at the time using the same body structures and engines. I believe we never did have the Tempest produced or imported here in Canada.
Actually it's an Arcadian...Canadian Nova. That's why the grill looks like a Pontiac symbol, just like the Beaumont is a Canadian Chevelle/Malibu.
