Your reference to "hide the decline" in the hacked emails tells me that you haven't spent any time looking into the issue. The "hidden" decline referred to was not a decline in actual global temperatures. The e-mail was talking about removing from the published data temperature approximations from tree ring data that were KNOWN to be FALSE because they conflicted with actual recorded temps.

The global temperature changes for the past three decades have all been increases of between 0.17 and 0.34 degrees per decade. 1999-2008 saw an increase of 0.19 degrees. These records are perfectly consistent with the average 0.2 degree warming per decade predicted by the IPCC.

An engine under development can get 60% off carbon...and is solar...while you park the car...works on house...result...90% of the fuel...gone. Carbon is not responsible for raising temperatures on the globe. It has a localized effect. The biggest effects are from methane. So if you have lots of cows, you will get some warming. But no where near if some methane deposits on the North Atlantic floor break loose, you've got a lot of warming from that.
