sharks are a kind of fish just the same as carp, whales are mammals so nothing at all to do with sharks. sharks are cold blooded with gills to breathe and covered in tiny scales. whales arewarm blooded and breath air through lungs just like us. as for record fish other than sharks arapaimas in the amazon have been caught to over 800lbs, and the same with giant freshwater stingrays and mekong catfish.

the carp in the ebro are easily fooled by snowman rigs , try a korda hybrid LONG hooklink, a fox ssbp size 4 hook, and a 4 oz flat lead, on a lead clip,for the baits use a bannana pop up and a ritchworth K-G-1 boilie and for free offerings use natural baits, eg tigernuts, hemp ,maggots ect i would advise that you fish the margins on 2 rods and straight out on the other,only use a catapault and PVA or a throwing stick,the method works well at close range.
