  • Lovely!

  • that is so cool. be careful!

  • awsome

  • please, try not to kill yourself while starting it! :-)

    awesome work, that's art.

  • It's fantastic..

  • incredble.

  • hey man, how did u make it ? try hooking that up with a large model aeroplane ;)

  • Pretty cool. Maybe the Military will buy it for their Drones. No, they have all gone "Green" won't work for them as they need to be quite as they fly over and spy on us!

    Nice job!

  • Great job !

You better tie that bad boy down, it looks like it wants to leave the table ...lol

  • brilliant

  • Nice :)

  • Awesome work man, sounds great. How did you start out making the carb? Also how hard was it to jet correctly?

  • Almost flew away there haha

  • Sweet!

  • put it on an air plane.

  • That Sir, is impressive. Inspiring....

  • ive thought about this being put on motorcycles but bigger of course. if anyone has high knowledge as to why it wouldnt be good give me a comment. if the video poster wants to respond thats cool too.

the honda goldwing has a flat 6 and I think a flat 4 model too.

I love the sound that it makes.

  • Brilliant

  • This sounds more like a 2 cycle engine.

  • It slices, it dices, it takes your fingers off :)

  • very cool but the placement of your arm on stratup worried me a little... any way did you CNC this or is it hand machined

  • You built this from scratch ! Thats amazing.

  • Nice work .

    Did you design it?

    Where is plans available?

  • that is not homemade

  • @paul7us676

    Tank you for your comment

    Your scepticism is a compliment

  • @corino85 Did you make every part of the engine?

I can see you made some parts on a lathe but did you order any parts like cylinder heads?

    If not, BRAVO!

  • @paul7us676 People that reply with this kind of comment are really saying "I can't build anything like this so you must not have built it." The mechanic for the Wright brothers chiseled the crank shaft for their engine from a solid block of steel.

Nice job on this engine by the way.

    Nice

  • @paul7us676 its called a lathe

  • @paul7us676 you just got shut down...

  • Hi , are pans available for the twin ?

  • You "physically" built this? ok, you win (but in my mind, mine is much better!).

  • Thank you for sharing with us!

  • i got the same starter motor as u do :D epic.

  • Comment removed

  • Show me how to build it, i need that knowledge.

  • Make video on it's construction. I see none on youtube.

  • bad A

  • Love the sound! :D

  • put it on a bike and see how it goes :D

  • Nice but dissapointing that their is no follow up of it doing something

  • @TheJimmax It started and ran, what more do you want?

  • @brapboys503 It would have been nice to see if it produced any usable power. I have seen "stirling" and similar engines that look great and produce high revs but have no use in the real world. This looks like it might be capable of doing some real work but i guess I'll never know. Oh and I want it all! :)

  • man thats awesome : ) i absolutely love that

  • Big prop, lots of torque and thrust?

  • Ever think about doing surgery on yourself?

  • Sounds good,nice job

  • WHAT ITS IT PURPOSE !!

  • need bigger intake runners.

  • what are you goin to do now whit it? put it in a scale model plane!

  • very good sir

  • 2 cylinder boxer engine, nice. What's the power and fuel usage like?

  • awesome job

  • neat:) 1:20 almost have a flying piece of wood... and notice those flowers catching the air

  • @Films4You "flying piece of wood..." Ouch!!! and Ouch!!!

  • @Maxumized Or... fasten it to the washing pole and watch that spin, LOL

More like a mopid engine in power

  • how cool is this ?!?!......my hat is off in your honor, sir !!!...simply brilliant !!!

  • LOL the board you have it mounted to tried to take off :D

  • COOL!! build a mini plain for kids!!!!!! :D

  • AAh I must of had a boys look!

  • Bscross he used a electric starter that attached to prop. Mrnik see the pipe coming from rh side of engine it pressurises fuel tank like most rc planes do.

  • @Ra40Rob

Yes, he did. He also started by hand at 1:40.

  • What kind of carb did you use ? Is it homemade too ? I want to put myself into engine modelism but I don't want to bear with a complicated carb for my first project...

    Thanks

  • couldn't you fit a shaft to the end of that prop then use a drill to start it instead of spinning the prop by hand cuz thats fucking dangerous. i sliced my finger up with a rc plane now i use the prop spinnte.

  • is there a fuel pump on there? I see the tank is mounted below the carb

  • It looks like an old motor. The Wright boys might have made one like it.good job.

  • Comment removed

  • omg it looks like its about to fly away at 2:02

  • but will it blend with our hovercrafts and boats.....? o_O

  • COMO QUE HECHO EN CASA? Yo NO veo; ni frascos; ni tenedores; ni cinta de embalar; ni latas de conserbas( para hacer los cilindros) ...

  • That bad ass baby needs to be mounted on a plane and get to the sky's!!!!!

  • always dreamt about making one in a garage and fit it in...anything? love it

  • Did you use someones plans (blueprints), or did you conceive the design on your own.

  • Whats the flywheel for on the back of the crank?

  • I want to make one and stick it on the front wheel of a minibike

  • 1:19 you need some clamps! good work, a fine bit of engineering.

  • try to make two stroke

  • You did a great job!

  • Why a box design? Why not a simpler inline?

  • @KeNNeYg22 this is cooler

  • Incrível!!! Como você fez o motor? É de quantos tempos?

  • dude you should build these for hobby shops or start your own homemade rc shop. Sell your parts to build rc planes etc. Would be awesome.

  • @pimpinalldaz2010 You kill your hobby if you start working with it

  • Excellent workmanship! The wright brothers would be envious.

  • I want to put this on my gas bike. How's torque?

  • geniuse

  • put at a moped

  • Nice

  • it starts to take off then he comes back with gloves lol

  • 1:19 YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!!! Seriously!!!

  • stick ur penis in it

  • what sort of traditional tools do you use do you cast all your parts or something?

  • Absolutely excellent!

  • thats impressive

  • Time to build a scale BMW motorcycle. :-)

  • This is simple amazing! this is a 4 strk correct? 5/5!!!

  • Have you taken any measurements for max RPM and torque?

  • thats so cool i love that twin cylinder sound

  • Looks like it makes more than enough power to actually use in an RC aircraft. Nice!

  • Dang--you must be a machinist by trade???

  • Nice job !! Is that a spark plug ( w/ red wire) or are the wires off a battery to heat the glow plugs? also is each cylinder 20cc? Of are they 10 each? Great job !

  • put that on a bike

  • i think what you have there is a flying table :)

  • I was scared the first time he was spinning it around, I thought he was trying to start it with his hand and I was thinking, " Dude you are not gonna get your hand out of there fast enough and its gonna hurt like a bitch" Then he started it with his hand and ruined my day.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL! For once someone didn't anchor the thing to the boards. That was funny. ;P 1:18 By the way.

  • Ok....... who let the geniuses into the machine shop again???

    NICE ENGINE

  • how many rpm's can that make

  • Pretty nice. Wasn't it hard to get these valve mechanics and timing made in your home? And must ask that are you using ready carburetor or you made even that too? =D You need to put more videos. What's your next project, v8? ;P

  • sounds strong, bet it would fly a plane. Good Job !

  • How much money did you spend making this because I'm looking to make a small boat for myself and I'd like to make a small engine for it

  • got o my chanel to see my homemade engine and sub meeeee

  • Da fliegt dir doch glatt das Brett weg ^^

  • very cool :)

but how much have you payed for all custom parts and stuff? :D

  • The engine is 100% homemade

  • @corino85 do you own a cnc or something? Or have access to one? I feel like it should be obvious but I still felt like asking

  • @goofy775 No manufacturing cnc: 100 % with traditional machines

  • @corino85 I must say nice work. I prefer traditional machines to cnc. How much of a challenge was this? I kinda want to do this myself now but make a single cylinder horizontal shaft style engine.

  • @corino85 use it as a weedeater lol

  • @corino85 well. i don't suggest you make the cilinder. but that's ok

  • @corino85 lol it almost ate the camera :D

  • what carb are you using?

  • the exaust warm's the fuel ?

  • Well done!

  • Nice Engine I was only afraid of high RPM open propeller,It can easily slice out fingers...

  • nice little engine you've built! it runs quite well.

  • congratulations, sweet engine

  • dude thats beast

  • own design?

  • very well done

  • how i wish to do something like this =( It's only a dream...

  • its realy good on summer it can chill you out

  • They look very similar to saito cylinder heads.

  • Many mass production engines don't run that good.

  • haha it wants to fly away

  • impressive......very nice

  • give it a sprocket and make it a nice bike engine

  • LOL.. The board where the engine is mounted on, was ready for takeoff! :-D

  • Sounds like a BMW motorcycle ... :-)

  • how much power? that thing is sweet

  • that sounds really sweet! would be awesome under the cowl of a big piper or cessna model.

  • very nice... how do you build the parts?

  • looks a bit like the vega

  • what kind of fuel dose it run on?

  • It's glow fuel with 9% ADL + 9% castor oil

  • @Simmons745 Fart gas.

  • Sweet! Runs good!

  • Look the flowers!! =D

  • PPWWRRrrr... and then it flys away.

    great job

  • I ran out of space... - But, of course, that's your right!

  • I know nothing about small engines but I do know this is a job well done! I especially liked when the board it's mounted to attempted take-off. Is your design very different from a typical "retail" engine of relative size? Would your design be as reliable (last as long, hold up as well) in your opinon? Definitely an interesting hobby! Although, I'm happy that someone like, say, Da Vinci didn't feel the same way. Paint the Mona Lisa and use it as a tablecloth... hohum it when praised, etc.

  • very nice job¡¡¡

    profesional¡ :)

just need an air filter.. ...

    congrats¡¡¡ :)

  • doesnt look homemade looks like a bunch of premanufactured parts to me.....

  • He might be a very good machinest...

  • <<Bravo !

Superbe construction c'est pour une aile volante ?

  • nice, what do you use it for? :)

  • It is only for satisfaction of concept and making

  • @corino85 and thats what i love about true creativity:)

  • @corino85 i make homemade glow engines ive been making and into glow models since young nice work tho

  • @corino85

    Perfect snugged in a wing,

Make another one for the other wing! lol...

I'm impressed, I would be very proud with a sweet performing engine like that. Much less be able to say I made it from scratch. ;)

    Nice!

  • What is the valve clearance on that?

  • The valve clearance is 0.05mm . I do not know if it is correct but the engine turns well enough

  • Thanks for showing! Really neat. Whats next? Radial engine? Do you plan to put these on a models and fly them or just ground run them?

  • I make engines only for satisfaction of concept and construction

    Now i'm working on a radial 9 cyl ( ~115cm³ )

  • @corino85

If you build a plane around that, I'm pretty sure a child could fly it. Good lock and GREAT work on this one.

  • Fantastic! I love the sound! especialy when it's idleing at 2:20.

  • NICE!!!

  • i love how at 2.20 the table tries to take off.
