UM first they say ben was brought to the island at as a boy, and then the next scene his mother is giving birth to him alone in a forest which suggests he was born on the island...and yet women werent supposed to be able to give birth on the island. if he wasn't born on the island why was she giving birth in a forest alone? And why did his father say he was stuck on the island with him?

@Freedish911 When Ben's mother goes into labor his dad tells the people who stopped that they had been out hiking, and from what I could tell it seemed pretty obvious that the drivers weren't members of Dharma and were driving on a highway, so they could have been anywhere, but I doubt it was the island. Ben himself said he only told everyone he was born on the island to make himself seem special. I think Charlotte said that she was born there though, but they never went anywhere with that.

@Freedish911 Ben lied to jack saying he was born on the island, he was acctually born in portland, as his mom is giving birth we clearly see a road sign, women could have babies on the island fine until the incident in 1977, Roger said he was stuck on the island with ben because he blamed ben for emily's(bens mom) death
