the problem is, that there are statistics that back up these stereotypes. I for example come from Germany, and the excessive abuse of Beer is a huge social problem over here, same goes for Russia and the large amount of Vodka that is consumed all over the country.

I can say for sure, that countrys like Saudi Arabia, South Korea or Brazil do not have this huge alcohol problems like England, Germany or Russia.
