Hyundai really should have made a name for itself a long time ago like Nissan did with the Z's, Maximas, and the Pathfinder. My uncle had an Elantra that lasted him about 6 years and about 100,000 miles before it shit the bed. i had a Pathfinder that was 14 years old w/ 275,000 miles on it and i had to get rid of it because somone hit it and totaled it.

Has 228,000 miles with no problems whatsoever. Still runnin like a charm. Not sure what happened with your elantra. Friend has a 2007 Honda civic with 28k miles, and regrets it. Spends all its time at the dealer. Nissan, I got nothing against, I like most of their vehicles.

i agree with you man, i'm a tech at a hyundai dealership and i know first hand how there still behind the quality of japanese cars and there really not even less expensive either. i have two nissan's currently and they have 105k and 215k miles on them and still running like new, these guys don't even know what there talking about.
