haha....this amp is long gone!....I have a Line 6 HD150 Half Stack now...what amp you got and i will tell you what settings you should have...btw...i had a distortion pedal here...the uber metal by line 6....lol, i dont need it anymore so its collecting dust.....want it?...i could sell it to ya...haha....but yea...just tell me the amp you got....the distortion pedal is also for sale if u want it.

but anyways...sorry didnt mean to act like trash there. Put ur amp on insane. Move the bass up a bit past the middle, ur mids 1 dot away from the middle, and your treble around....2 or 3 dots past the middle...and add a bit of reverb...i hope that helped!

hey how thick of strings are you using? I normally use 9-42 because i like to play alot of metallica's slower stuff... the 9-42 work really well for "Wherever I May Roam" guys, standard tuning is good for that song also. most stuff on the black album can be played standard.

all i have to say is this isnt my fastest down picking, i am trying to go faster than i am now, and this vid is from like summer, and not my fastest, but thats not imprtant, alternate pciking is something everyone should master, it will help more, im just trying to get a style going...

it kinda came naturally to me...but what is really great to go fast when down picking is using a metronome and practice downpicking with that...check out master of puppets ...also all downpicked accept the solo...ooo and this is old vid ...need to redo soon
