Hi Christian - yes the members of Abba were already very good artists before they got together to form Abba, that's what made the group so good. The most successful of them was Agnetha, which is not surprising with self written songs and singing of this high quality! I put plenty of background info in all my vids to set the scene for the song and perrformance for the viewers, it makes the vid more complete. The info is from an authorised biograhy, so its what did occur. Thanks lots from John!

I certainly will be doing that, Agnetha's solo Swedish songs are wonderful! Its even more impressive that she wrote them herself starting at just 17. This is just a typical album track, with plenty more of this quality. The picture is intended to show how much in love they were when their romance began to go with this emotional song - Agnetha looks totally love struck! Cheers Jolanda, its a privilege for me to bring these lesser known but wonderful Swedish solo songs from Agnetha's early career before Abba to the attention of her youtube fans! The quality of her song writing and singing is very high for album tracks. She would have been too good for any other group but Abba who amazingly had Bjorn and Benny to write even better songs for the international market!

Yes this is one of Agnetha's solo Swedish songs before she joined Abba! She did a lot of great songs like this, and she wrote most of them herself. Agnetha is a very talented composer + singer in her own right, but was overshadowed by Bjorn & Benny.

Hiya Dallas - yep I didn't have to think too long what to write about and which picture to use for this song. The subject matter jumps out at you straight away, as Agnetha sings powerfully from the heart. The build up to the chorus is very strong from the start, which she soon launches into! Its evident that they fell in love quickly. The attraction was strong as I hope the pictue illustrates and it shows that they travelled to meet each other between their shows!

Cheers Francisco - I've found that Agnetha's album tracks are all of this high standard and full of her strong emotional singing so there's plenty more to come! Sometimes you can't help but wonder what we missed out on from her during the Abba years, given that she was composing these great songs herself!

Thanks Mark, I like to do rarer songs like this as well as the more famous ones by Abba. There's plenty more of these beautifully sung Swedish solo songs from Agnetha still to come, and she wrote most of them herself! Its not commonly known that she had a very successful solo career in Sweden before Abba came along.

Yes she wrote her first song at just 17 years old, and it went straight to number 1 in Sweden. She was something of a child musical genius!

Not quite the happy lyrics one would expect, but it shows she has a deep insight into human emotions that would appear in her songs throughout her career and explains her emotional singing! She was always a romantic soul!

Cheers Shay, I wanted something to illustrate that they met up whenever they could despite their different touring committments and this photo fitted that just right with the sports car included! Its also got the advantage of showing off Agnetha's long legs and micro-skirt too. Its no wonder that Bjorn could not resist her and found her seductive! She did wear some daring stuff, but that was the fashion then!
