@ anyone comparing different sony ux`s and the pandora... I dont wanna start a flame war, Im too old to want that, i remember a few punch ups at school over speccy V C64 (which was way better LOL) but STOP! Ive looked at those sony`s and they are £££ THOUSANDS, I can see keys but no gaming controls and as everyone agree`s have short battery life. In my humble opinion (and it is...) If you want value for money buy this thing, I have, and my Virtual Pandora looks awesome! LOL

i think sony ux is better cuz i can go in the pocket and it can handle dx9 games on low and maybe med detail

Yeah but I think the Pandora will have a longer battery life. x86 UMPCs haven't impressed me on battery life, the Pandora is supposed to last about 12 hours.

Battery Geek Portable Power Station or a BG 15-21-130 External Laptop Battery and i don't like linux so if i have a pandora i will good form and gameing with joystick but i have fricken linux i like play all kinda of game and ux can handle suddenattack and runescape and WOW and runes of magic crossfire etc

and way cpu more and gpu!

but then again maybe i should get a laptop i have ext. bat. or vest

There's some communication overheard, and they're still making sure the prototypes are just right before they send it to production.

It's all piecing together nicely! I love the design of the Pandora, and I noticed it assembles a lot like a NDS Lite does. I like the way the buttons were moved, because with the previous design the buttons looked cramped. Everything about the device looks great, and I have no complaints! I just hope this thing ships by April!!

I don't know if it's more powerful than the Wii but it's definitely a generation ahead of the DS and the PSP. It's probably something like the original XBox, but I think the shaders are better, and it has a lot more memory, so it can multitask and play video really easily and fun stuff like that.

well it's hard to judge what is more powerful with different types of cpus, but it has Wii beat in every measurable way - storage, memory, connectivity... and it definitely wins in flexibility.

Wii:

88MB of RAM, 3MB of texture / video RAM

2GB of SD storage

Pandora:

256MB shared RAM

up to 64GB dual SD storage, plus USB hard disks, plus network shares.

The graphics are probably a bit better too, though that also depends on which console has better programmers.

Awesome Stuff!! Too bad the cable broke. Thankfully it's not the one directly connected to the screen. Or you would have needed a new LCD. Can't wait till next week for a video of it running!
