@acooldude0 I would say get it, I never rolled the original but I got this today and it hits like mac truck. I love the midlane roll it gives with a strong continuous backend reaction. you wont regret it ;)

Hey the ( TheBCann ) the nano hooks way more! Just go this bowling ball yesterday and I had a 216 average and now with the nano it's a 234 average!!! Love this ball I suggest to buy this!

Hello ive had my nano for about half a year know, and ive just recently played on a shark pattern. My ball just could not enter the hook phase. Its drilled to go long. Is there anything i can do to the surface?

Ive thrown this ball and the Columbia 300 World Beater and I thought there was really no difference in the reaction. To me it was very similar as the Nano does react a little sooner but other than that, no difference.
I use both a Marvel (15 pounds) and the VG Nano (14 pounds) just got the Nano yesterday, fingers on the Nano are similar to Tony's, 7 games in practice I bowled a 174 average.

@Nelvin78 Have you tried putting on a coat of polish? Also, it's hard to understand how strong this ball is. If you're bowling on a lighter or even medium oil condition, this ball can easily use up all of its energy before reaching the pocket. This ball was designed for the heaviest of oil conditions, so it's important to know that it may not work for you on every condition.
@bowlingballcom For my money, the Lane #1 products are a better value. With this ball I miss right quite a bit expecting this ball is going to finish and it proves me wrong. Ive been using this in my PBA Experience league on the longer and heavier patterns. It hits hard no doubt but its a straight down 3rd arrow shot with a rollout into the pocket. It seems to leave a lot of back row spares for me to shoot at. Im replacing it with a Time Bomb Black Fire.
@bowlingballcom thats my problem with this ball. people understand that i hit the pocket alot but the angle im playing on drier lanes i stand all the way left, and i put the ball on 20 and roll it out to about 15 and they say since i keep hitting soft the ball runs outta engery but i dont understand. middle of the lane is where mostly fresh oil is when the lane is dried out.
@kingzmaul This is a ball that should only be used on med-heavy to heavy oil conditions. It's true, if there isn't enough oil, the ball will use up it's energy and lose power at the pins. It needs that oil to save the reaction for the back part of the lane and hit the pins with force.
@kingzmaul If your house shot is fairly dry, yes. It has a lot to do with the amount of oil on the lanes, the lane surface and how you throw the ball. Doesn't mean it's only for difficult sport patterns, but it is designed to be used on higher volumes of oil.

threw my high series with this ball yesterday... went 263 w/10 strikes, 249, and 237 for a 749... on lanes i had been bowling on for 2hours! this ball just destroys oil and u can play practically any shot with it amazing ball 10/10
Just got this ball on tuesday. Threw a nice 693 first time out with it in league with 266 last game! The main thing I love about this ball is no matter how deep I got with it, it never quit on me and always made it back to the pocket. If you had the original Virtual Gravity, then just wait til you get this one. The best ball ever made just got a lot better!
i love throwing with power. this ball (was) just killing the pocket for about 60 games....i truely dont want to slow my release, is there a way to get that hard turn it had 60 games ago back....ive washed the ball and put (oob) 4000 abralon in it.. both good for two or three games.. is there a somthing i can do so i dont have to worry about it dieing in the middle of leagues???

@supaMAN5thousand The NANO is definitely the most aggressive of the bowling balls you mentioned. There's nothing that hooks more on the market at this time!

@averagejoes808 They both have the same amazing Shape-Lock HD core, but the NANO has the new NRG coverstock. NRG gives bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface. The NANO is stronger than the VG and is a bit earlier.
I laugh @ some of these video's cuz unless that ball is polished up there is no way, Tony is keeping that ball on the right side of the pins, the way its drilled + the oil pattern...... Same goes with the Reign of Fire video. my RoF hooked in my backswing in OOB condition and on a longer oil pattern......
that maybe so....... but my Nano has is a Pin-up drilling ( 1 1/2 inches ) above the fingers, and our THS is a 40ft shot, and the ball still makes a left turn on the backend.... and I struggle to keep it on the right side of the lane... And thats when I'm playing 5th arrow....
@jmost2 idiots like u give bowling a bad name. 14 yr. olds dont have the strength to muscle a 15 or 16 lb. ball around to get the extra carry needed to average 235. 200 is a very good average

Can We Get Halstorm back or at least another cranker, Tony and John are great but, they just don't display the different ball reaction that crankers can get.

This ball is a must buy. I got it and its really the only ball that ive thrown that will come back when i toss it way out on accident. I can trust it alot and it is very very strong. I dont know whats wrong with mine but it smells fruity kind of like a furious but not "orange mint" I got mine from Tom Hess
hey i have a question i have a 12 pound storm gravity shift and throw it around 15 miles per hour but it doesn't curve as much as i need it to i am a cranker would this ball be a good fit or just the regular virtual gravity

@BButlerMusic get storm or rotogrip since there the same company and because there bowling balls keep the pins from exploding all over the place like hammer. the energy transferred to the pins is more controlled also. but im no bowling expert though, just offering my opinion.
i will be getting this ball when it comes out and i was wondering what kind of layout i should use. i have the original gravity that is starting to die out and the anarchy. they are both set of for max hook. i was wondering if i should do the same for the nano or maybe do something different. let me know of any suggestions thanks
@infernobowler300 its not the ball its the shot they bowl on, watch some of there other vids, they'll throw the ball straight at the pocket and the ball will just hold up for a strike,
@tomdafreak whats the big deal, original vg was good enough for lots of bowlers...and for people like me that paused bowling and missed that ball its givin me the 2nd chance...for my stage, its the human rather than the ball to do more work to compete...in fact i do not really like many of the balls today which look like tomahawk missiles and any bowler can easily produce bunch of strikes anyhow...its gettin harder to differentiate...then where is the fun of sport and competition?
@nyjcmp yea i was looking at storm's website the other day and i dont think their comparison graphs of the ball's strength shows any vaulable info, all it does it make that particular ball look strong by changing pattern volume/what balls its compared too so its useless. but looking at specs, the invasion is stronger with 2.48 gr and .057 diff compared to the nano with 2.48 rg and .52 diff. but the intermediate diff on the nano is .020, invasion is .017. overall id still say invasion>nano
@AugieGK4life I hear you on those numbers but you can't ignore the part that touches the lane, the coverstock. I guess they're saying the Nano technology gives more overall hook. These balls don't interest me that much as I tend to gravitate more to weaker, symmetric core balls but I wonder if we will be seeing "Nano" versions of various Storm stuff. Invasion Nano, anyone? Don't know if Nano tech will apply to anything other than solid covers.

and yea ur right, the coverstock is very important and deffinately stronger on the nano than the invasion. i donno about seeing a non version of the invasion, i would pass on it cause i heard the invasion isnt that good of a ball overall.
@AugieGK4life I noticed on Storm's website that there's an Invasion Nano and Domination Nano under the Exclusive collection. The Domination is R2X Pearl Reactive Nano, guess that answers THAT question. Next question is, will we get these (or Nano versions of other stuff) in the States? "Hy-road Nano", I can see it now...
@nyjcmp no the invasion and anarchy are still the most aggressive balls by storm so far. This ball is literally just a couple boards stronger. I have a virtual gravity and my friend has an invasion and the invasion is definately stronger. hope this helped
@nyjcmp Sorry i might have been wrong. I try not to go by the lines they have on the brand's website because it really depends on the way its drilled and the ball carrier. I was going by memory and i didnt mean to confuse anyone if i did.
@agratias716 The core in the gravity is stronger than the core in the marvel, and they have the same coverstock, and the so I doubt the marvel is stronger than the original virtual gravity, nevermind the nano or the invasion...

@averagejoes808 They both have the same amazing Shape-Lock HD core, but the NANO has the new NRG coverstock. NRG gives bowlers increased oil traction due to the micro-dynamic enhancements of the surface. The NANO is stronger than the VG and is a bit earlier.

I laugh @ some of these video's cuz unless that ball is polished up there is no way, Tony is keeping that ball on the right side of the pins, the way its drilled + the oil pattern...... Same goes with the Reign of Fire video. my RoF hooked in my backswing in OOB condition and on a longer oil pattern......

that maybe so....... but my Nano has is a Pin-up drilling ( 1 1/2 inches ) above the fingers, and our THS is a 40ft shot, and the ball still makes a left turn on the backend.... and I struggle to keep it on the right side of the lane... And thats when I'm playing 5th arrow....

This ball is a must buy. I got it and its really the only ball that ive thrown that will come back when i toss it way out on accident. I can trust it alot and it is very very strong. I dont know whats wrong with mine but it smells fruity kind of like a furious but not "orange mint" I got mine from Tom Hess

I need a ball that will destroy the backend .. I currently throw the Hammer Taboo and C Systems 2.5 and use a Brunswick Smash Zone as a spare ball. I am having trouble deciding whether to purchase the Roto Grip Infinite Theory, Hammer Infection, or the Storm Virtual Gravity Nano. Please help me out!?

@BButlerMusic get storm or rotogrip since there the same company and because there bowling balls keep the pins from exploding all over the place like hammer. the energy transferred to the pins is more controlled also. but im no bowling expert though, just offering my opinion.

i will be getting this ball when it comes out and i was wondering what kind of layout i should use. i have the original gravity that is starting to die out and the anarchy. they are both set of for max hook. i was wondering if i should do the same for the nano or maybe do something different. let me know of any suggestions thanks

@tomdafreak whats the big deal, original vg was good enough for lots of bowlers...and for people like me that paused bowling and missed that ball its givin me the 2nd chance...for my stage, its the human rather than the ball to do more work to compete...in fact i do not really like many of the balls today which look like tomahawk missiles and any bowler can easily produce bunch of strikes anyhow...its gettin harder to differentiate...then where is the fun of sport and competition?

@nyjcmp yea i was looking at storm's website the other day and i dont think their comparison graphs of the ball's strength shows any vaulable info, all it does it make that particular ball look strong by changing pattern volume/what balls its compared too so its useless. but looking at specs, the invasion is stronger with 2.48 gr and .057 diff compared to the nano with 2.48 rg and .52 diff. but the intermediate diff on the nano is .020, invasion is .017. overall id still say invasion>nano

@AugieGK4life I hear you on those numbers but you can't ignore the part that touches the lane, the coverstock. I guess they're saying the Nano technology gives more overall hook. These balls don't interest me that much as I tend to gravitate more to weaker, symmetric core balls but I wonder if we will be seeing "Nano" versions of various Storm stuff. Invasion Nano, anyone? Don't know if Nano tech will apply to anything other than solid covers.

and yea ur right, the coverstock is very important and deffinately stronger on the nano than the invasion. i donno about seeing a non version of the invasion, i would pass on it cause i heard the invasion isnt that good of a ball overall.

@AugieGK4life I noticed on Storm's website that there's an Invasion Nano and Domination Nano under the Exclusive collection. The Domination is R2X Pearl Reactive Nano, guess that answers THAT question. Next question is, will we get these (or Nano versions of other stuff) in the States? "Hy-road Nano", I can see it now...

@nyjcmp no the invasion and anarchy are still the most aggressive balls by storm so far. This ball is literally just a couple boards stronger. I have a virtual gravity and my friend has an invasion and the invasion is definately stronger. hope this helped
