I would think so... I never checked. Some day I'll upgrade the motors to make it go faster. I haven't pay much attention to it lately. I've been busy with my helis...
I purchased one of these boats b/c of it's great scale looks and twin screw/water cooled motors. Very scale but the radio/steering and weak hull make this prone to cracking. Too bad b/c this boat is really nice looking and begs to be hopped up. Nice video.

5 mph maybe 7 with really good batteries. dont trust a word they say about speed when it comes to those TOY boats

No, just the standard nicad battery that came with it. It only lasted about 15 minutes.
