  • Got a Michael's "Black dasy" drum since a couple of years. Veeeeeeeeeeery good instrument indeed!

  • I bought one of his bodhrans in Galway this past July, at Powell's. I adore it, and have been practicing diligently ever since. It is so well-made and has a beautiful timbre!

  • I bought a custom bodhran from Michael in Galway about ten years ago and it is a great instrument. The intire front is covered with designs from the Book of Kells. When I bought it he said he was sad to see it go and it is the most decorated instrument he had made. I didn't ask him if he had painted the art work but every session I play at people point and other players ask me about the drum. Pair that with fantastic sound and boy I get some major attention.

  • Michael! I had the pleasure of purchasing one of his 16" tunables, with a cut out and no crossbar. Best drum I've ever bought or played on for that matter!

Can't wait to see him next weekend at the Dublin Irish Festival :)
