your cards unlocked to the 6970 shader levels? and yeah, I just upgraded from dual GTX 465's, which offered 32x AA, while my new 6950's only offer 16x AA. makes me sadface.
@MM168NSX Sadly, you cant enter most of the buildings. The ones you can enter are usually mission related. Luckily there are hundreds of missions to complete xD
o.o ... this game gameplay and graphics are epic.. but i rly need new pc for that... damn i wanna new pc faster xD played demo on lowest and with 640x480 res and best fps i got was 38 xD
i dont believe u get 130-200fps. i have 2500k@4.5ghz, 8gb ram, msi twin frozr III 6950 2gb CF and i get max 130fps when im on ground evertything maxed
lol I noticed while playing this game that unless you go off a cliff, every vehicle you crash when you are in won't blow up, but when you aren't in it, it will explode once it hits something
@johnphilbrick lol yeah this game has wonky physics, such as when you fall from over 1000 ft and then hook on the ground without a parachute and still live, still its a great game and has more explosions than 9000 michael bay movies
@TheBornSniper I would recommend that you change the i7 to a i5, The i5 2500k gets the same performance as the i7 2600k in games as no games use more than 4 threads, I decided to put the extra money into a second hd 6950 for crossfire. As for performance, one hd 6950 should get roughly 60% of the fps as two cards. 144 Euro for a case seems too expensive, put as much money into the graphics card(s) as you can as those components will dictate about 90% of the performance you'll get in games.
@ZackLAWL you'd be surprised at how well the i5 sandy bridge overclocks, most can reach 4.5~ghz on stock volts and air, i used a easy overclock utility that was in my mobo's bios. My cpu passed prime95 stability test for 4 hours with temps below 80C so im fine with it.
@DarkRage6969 Dang. I'm super new to PC's. I just built one about 3 weeks ago. And haven't even looked up on how to overclock it. But awesome. That's crazy dude. xD

i can run high settings but not max, max settings gives me like 15 fps
dr00p42 1 month ago
thats not max settings, max is only on nvidia
TheAdamove 2 months ago
@TheAdamove I know that AMD does not use PhysX, but it is max settings for AMD cards. Since when did proprietary PhysX matter that much anyway :P
DarkRage6969 2 months ago
@DarkRage6969 It's not physX dude. The nvidia card offers better water, ambient occlusion, bokeh depth of field, and better shadows.

@teeas1 I got 200~fps MAX in the air, where the graphics are much less demanding than in a forest or during a firefight.

@DarkRage6969 A quick question: Micro stutter? Had any whatsoever?
Gurkdream 4 months ago
@Gurkdream I had alot of microstutter in the original crysis and black ops, in most games there is no microstutter.
