  • BEST. MOVIE. EVER.

  • i love this movie i just watched it tonight

  • Greatest race horse who ever lived, wish he was still around, and I want a breyer model of him so bad

  • such a beautiful film - my grandad was a jockey and rode a horse that looked a little like Secretariat - He named it Big Red :) also can u beilieve that Secretariat has sired to over 600 foals?! its amazing XD

  • My horse has Secretariat bloodlines (:

  • This is a very good movie :)

  • I completly disagree that its a male film, then what the hell am iI consistantly look foward to action, scifi, and fantasy films at the theater. So you know I'm pysched about this trailer. I saw it on teather and now I will see it on sitemoovis.co.cc again.

  • This movie is amazing i watched and as i looked on my horses passport her great great grandfarther is secretariat! I was in so much shock but thats why she can gallop so fast at aroung 40-45 mph at the track (:

  • Only in movies? No my friend, only in great sports do hearts come alive like this, and only the heart of a horse can make people do what they would never have dreamed of doing.

  • I want a hat like that...

  • @KryptoThesuperdog9 and mariah's storm

  • great movie, honestly brought tears of joy!

  • @SuperRocky077 Don't feel bad. I cried. Like a baby.

  • "You about to see something you ain't never SEEN BEFORE!". This is such an amazing movie. I love Secretariat. I'm lucky to have a granddaughter of him. He truly is the greatest race horse of all time.

  • @birjubista I agree. This was probably the most perfect film I saw in 2010. That it didn't win anything really surprised me.

  • One of my favorite movies on filmsi.co.cc of all time, and no doubt my favorite soundtrack. Even this youtube video brought tears to my eyes. Amazing and underrated movie, with some of the best acting and scores around.

  • @22bluepunk.

ME TOO. and i got a chance to ride one of secritariet's grand daughters today. It was amazing! She looks so much like him

  • this movie gave me goose bumps

  • this movie is the best its funny heart warming and exciting i felt like i was at a real race! and this movie is the full truth! even the real penny was there to witness the movie being made in my opinion ruffian was great seabiscuit was great zenyatta is great but secretariat is Greatest.

  • I love this movie horses are amazing I get to see my colt in a week for the first time and I'm so excited!!! :)

  • Don't get me wrong, I loved this movie that horse is freaking amazing! Hes legendary for sure. But in my opinion, Seabiscuit was better. I don't know, it just had more feeling to it or something. I love some scenes in this movie though! Like at 0:21 ! XD Just my opinion though!

  • i notice some things were a little like they dont play My Old Kentucky Home while the horses are still at the stables, and just some other little things but GREAT movie anyway

  • You Americans are ridiculous sometimes, you live in your Truman Show. But the real world out there. To be a champion of trot or gallop, it is necessary to beat the champions of other countries around the world, participating to Arc de Triomphe, King George Stakes, Jockey Club ect ect. Your fake champions have won only in the U.S.A , Outside the U.S everyone knows the two best horses in history are Italian. Varenne (trot), Ribot (gallop). Watch my video about "Varenne" on my channel and shut up

  • I can't comment about this movie, Secretariat, since I have not seen it yet, but, I will soon. I did see the movie "Seabiscut" and it was great! I bought the DVD as a keeper. Anyone who thinks that Seabiscut was not good storytelling should take a class in writing screenplays. I did, and it definitely fits the criteria...

  • if you didnt know big red was a real horse this movie would look fake because of how fast he ran at the end :) awesome movie it should win a award.

  • my personal favorites seabiscuit,secratieriat,and ruffian :)

  • I like this movie, but I liked the Seabiscuit movie better. I think this one took too long to show some racing and to show the story of the horse.

  • Where can I get the musical sound track to this film?

  • everyone watch ruffian it will make you cry :'(

  • Secretariat is one of the most amazing horses ever I saw this movie last night and it was just wonderful!!

  • As a racing fan, I was looking forward to this, but as a film fan, it was honestly a letdown for me. I thought Lane and Malkovich gave great performances, as they have always done, but it was just too Disney for me. If I was still 12 I would've thought it was the best movie ever, but it didn't engage me on as many levels as Seabiscuit did. Doesn't change my opinion about the story or the horse, but I can't give the film as good a rating as I would have liked.

  • Part of this was filmed 5 miles from my old house.

Kind of neat to see part of Lafayette/Carencro in a big movie.

  • this is the most amazing horse and story, the movie gives me goose bumps everytime I watch it. It is so inspiring, it shows us all that we can do anything that we believe in.

  • Don't forget Barbaro! He tried to win the 3C in likt the early 90's but got eauthanised before the Belmount. :) SO INSPIRING

  • Man O' War!! Forget Secretariat!

  • @Wolfguurl Why would we forget him? Hes just as amazing as Man o war, they were both amazing runners!

  • @Wolfguurl Man O" War would get his ass wooped by Secretariat!

  • @TheExoticAnimal Yeah he would because he died long before Secretariat. The only way he would lose would be if he was dead. He carried more weight, had heavier shoes, and raced in horrible conditions cause his owner was an ass. Don't get me wrong, Secretariat was decent. But if I had to choose, I'd spit all over Secretariat's grave.

  • @Wolfguurl decent? yeah right he was amazing ron barely had to whipe secretariat to make him run i dont think he even whiped him at all. secretariat was bigger and faster than man o war. and even if man o war had less weight on his back secretariat would still win.

  • @Wolfguurl Secretariat's records were so much faster than MOW that MOW's closest race he would have still lost by 6 lengths. Most of the race times put MOW behind by 10-20 lenghts. Sorry but statistics don't lie. BTW, Secretariat weighed 21 pounds more than MOW. So stop with the weight excuse. Secretariat was smaller than MOW but weighed more. So the weight of the jockeys is irrelevant. And if I could see one being again on this planet, it would be Secretariat over any human. The ONE miracle.

  • hgcnvnnnvbnvbnbvnbvnvb

  • i really wanna see secretariet, everyone says it amazing.

  • I have to say, this is the one of the best Disney films, and one of the best film about horses or horseriding for riders and for the others as well!!!!!

  • @szelyna ^^; I hope it was ssarcasm considering how much Disney totally messed up with the story....like for exemple just by taking Riva Ridge out of the picture you go from ''impossible but truth story!'' to ''impossible''. Ruffian is by far a better horse movie

  • Seabiscuit, Secretariat... Now we just have to wait for a movie about Zenyatta! I'm exited :)

  • good

  • Sectretariat IS the SUPER HORSE!!! ive watched this movie 3 times already and im still craving to watch it more!! after i watched it the 2nd time i came on youtube and found the actual Belmount Stakes race in 1973. wow. what a true, amazing, inspiring story!! thumbs up to this awesome movie!!! :D

  • I loved this movie so much I bought the DVD. The only thing I wish they would have changed would have been to include scenes of Lucien training Secretariat. But other than that, it was excellent. Loved all of the actors.

  • Hasn't been done in 25 yrs. Wauw!

  • I love this acter. One of the best performance and character. Surprisingly, this story offers a little in the way of physicality. It is definitely memorable film and easygoing.. Plus, it has a cute end... Recommended film for all who are ready for some funny time! View it at moovi.co.cc.

  • housewife multy million gambel bless her heart.

  • view this at moovi.co.cc. This really get it right.... There's a lot of good love moments in it, but also there is great action.. Acting is really great and I must say very convincing. I am sure, any other movie could not hold a candle to this. I am very happy with it. Watch it!!

  • Loved it ! Fantastic horse. what passion and faith his owner had in him... He knew it and gave his all for her. I love all horse movies. In our history we have been shown by them never to give up and with faith anything can happen. I have five, 3 off the track all rescues. They remind me every day how much I am loved and needed. My horses all though two were very mistreated, trust me enough to ride them I trust them with my life its an understanding you have.....

  • Guys I bet if u don’t watch it on moovi.co.cc, you’re missing such a great deal!! Unmatched picture and sound quality found there!! I like it so much...!

  • I saw it today on moovi.co.cc and it was awesome! I don't get why people say this movie is a waste of time..

  • I would like to see a film about a British racehorse - Red Rum and Desert Orchid were both fantastic horses and considered "national treasures" and even got fanmail :3

  • One of the BEST i have ever seen!!!! I wish i was there to see him win his races, that would have just been the best....Disney does such a great job on putting the story line together. I just bought the movie after seeing it in theaters, and it got my whole families attention. My dad and mom were astounded at how many lengths he was ahead of Sham and the other racehorses. Dreamer and Seabiscuit were two others that were good but this one out did itself

  • oopppsss...soo soo sorry...phar lap !! hes the great from aussie world...whew!! lol

  • whats amazing about all the great racers...this one, seabiscuit...par something, something "par" from australia....they all ate alot! its the one comment they all made about these great horses//////what the heck was the name of the horse from australia...help me here...brain freeze

  • Watch this now on moovi.co.cc!! A very clever made film! Funny, entertaining and a little sad, you have all in one in this...just great! I liked the way it was filmed in a documentary style...it is a big plus because it makes you think it is all real. One word----FANTASTIC!!!!

  • @1faulpola No, this is not shot in a documentary style...it is a dramatization based on a true story.

  • I just watched this movie and i love it. Its so facinating.. how he impresed tweedy since the day he was born. He stood up really quickly.. its just so amazing!!

  • I just watched this movie! ITS BEST!!!!!!! He's the best stallion than others.

im wondering who will win the race Sercetariat or Ruffian!

  • Comment removed

  • The size of his heart is what makes me cry. 2 1/2 times the size of an average horses' heart weighing in at approximately 22 pounds. Secretariate was just a machine born to run.

  • here are some of the best movies in their toppest quality waiting? t be watched....check it out today guys...this is very good..! Just come to moovi.co.cc!

  • This movie, it was just amazing.

    It really got to me.

    A horse isn't a pet, it's a friend to me.

Secretariat knew what he had to do. It wasn't a joke.

    He just went for it.

    I love him;

  • When I saw this movie in a theater, there was a different beginning showing spectacular closeups of horses running - in close, slowed down so that you could see the ripples of their muscles, breathing, etc. It was a powerful scene. When I purchased the Blu-Ray I was highly disappointed to learn it was no longer there. There was an alternate beginning offered on the Blue-Ray version, but the actual scene I saw was not. Shame on Disney to do this without notice. Does anyone know about this?

  • @AcadiaRush I have the dvd and when she is reciting the job verse they show the horses going into the starting gate, is that what you saw

  • @VivaLaEquus Thanks for replying. No. The part I am describing was longer, close -up, and was done with a high speed camera so that they were able to slow the scene down, showing the muscles flexing, and releasing, the breath, dirt and dust flying around. It was photographed from the side, following the horses as they ran. This was a dramatic scene and expertly photographed.

  • The guy in the background at 39 is my Spanish Teacher:)

  • I think he eats too much... (':

  • I saw the movie three times at the theatre and bought it today. I love the movie, flaws and all. I wish they would have stuck to the real story but they had to Hollywood it up a bit. That's o.k because we know the real story. I think what I love about watching it is that it makes Secretariat feel alive to me again. I really miss that Big Red horse !

  • This film has my vote for Best Picture

  • what an amazing movie i saw it tonight i had chills and tears i felt like i was watching the actual race so amazing

  • i love this show...what an inspiring move for women.....................with all the doubt she turned it into her drive........i love this move ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!1

  • Which horse plays Secretariat???

  • AWESOME MOVIE!!!!!!! Just watched it and it was worth every penny... Secretariat is by far my favourite race horse of all time! Winning by 31 lengths shouldn't be legal! And he wasn't just good at racing, he had heart! After he died they did an autopsy on him and found that his heart was twice the size of a normal horse's heart. He really was one of the BEST race horses EVER!

  • @TheBreyerGal Sorry for all the exclamation marks, in this case it means excitement-not shouting :)

  • Saw this for the THIRD time the other night...this is totally the best movie I saw in 2010.

  • Secretariat(American Thoroughbred racehorse) won the triple crown, his heart was 22 pounds. His great great great grandmother.(?),eclipse, only weighed 14 pounds,And thats twice the size of the average weight. The closest to him was Man O' War.Though secretariat is the fastest racehorse ever.

  • i love this movie!

  • i am going to download and watch it at one click moviez dot com

  • yay i'm gunna watch it

  • ya...true story true story true story ...lies lies lies

  • stupid fucking telemundo advertisements. Seriously. Enough with this fucking shit already. It's pissing me off enough to convince my grandma to stop watching it. They're fucking hurting themselves more then helping.

  • Saw this movie twice. Finally watched "Seabiscuit" the other night and it did not hold my attention at all. "Secretariat" (the movie) was so good. The film gets right into it, whereas "Seabiscuit" took way too long to get started with the story of the horse. I really, really enjoyed this...inspiring and wonderfully filmed....I recommend it highly!

  • @GloriaD5767 yeah but the only reason Seabiscuit is like that is because it's supposed to show how the horse really changed the lives of everyone who worked with him. also is an "idol" -if you will- to the great depression showing to not give up and "sometimes all somebody every needs is a second chance" as Mr. Howard says

  • @MissWannaBeGrandPrix Could be...but I tried to get through the book and I was really bored...I think it could have been edited a little bit better...I'm still going to like "Secretariat" better...

  • @GloriaD5767 Oh yeah please do! I was just pointing out why it's so slow. And i agree, I couldn't read the book either b/c it was just way too boring to bare

  • @MissWannaBeGrandPrix I can't even remember if I finished it! It was a book on tape, and since I was at work, listening to a boring book while typing isn't a good idea! Thanks for pointing out why it was so slow...I listened to the book on tape, which is why I was so reluctant to watch the movie...my gut instinct was right!

  • @GloriaD5767 I saw both movies, and have exactly the opposite of your opinion.

Seabiscuit blows Secretariat away, becasue it had an amazing backstory that was told in depth. Secretariat also has an amazing backstory that was ignored, and the movie appeared to be a glib and shallow production because of it. It's almost like they were afraid of telling it...why?

  • @floydefisher Uh...so according to you, Secretariat didn't tell the backstory. Uh, yeah, really? So the whole thing with Penny Tweedy facing financial trouble, male chauvinism, having to raise a family, flying back and forth during this time, missing three years of her kids growing up and the fact that no horse had won the Triple Crown in 25 years, WASN'T in the movie??? What movie were YOU watching?

  • @floydefisher Ignored backstory? Really? So the fact that Penny Tweedy had to deal with male chauvinism, financial problems, doubt, finding someone to run the stable, having to raise a family during a difficult time in her life, missing out on three years of her kids' lives, and Secretariat having problems with his mouth WASN'T the backstory? Oh, I guess that was just filler. I read Seabiscuit the book and saw the movie and I was bored both times. Too bad for the horse.

  • @GloriaD5767 There is so much more to the film 'Seabiscuit' than just the horse himself, there was a war on you know. No comparison.

  • @Lizzie200292 The sad thing is, both "Seabiscuit" the book and movie didn't really EXPRESS to me how the horse changed people's lives. It just wasn't compelling and neither one of them held my interest. Good storytelling is good storytelling...and "Seabiscuit" just wasn't it.

  • @GloriaD5767 OMG, i competely disagree, we all have our opinions though... the amazing thing about seabiscuit is that he brought the nation together at a time of war. he brought John from the brink if being a bum... saved a guy from suicide and gave one of the best horse trainers a name...

  • @Lizzie200292 But I didn't feel that any of that was implied by the movie...THAT'S what makes a story great...if the storytellers are doing the job. The feeling wasn't coming through...if it were compelling, it would have grabbed me. It's too bad, because I've heard how Seabiscuit helped people get their minds off the depression and changes a few lives, but it didn't come through for me in the movie and that's a shame.

  • @GloriaD5767 it didn't??

  • @Lizzie200292 To me it didn't...

  • @GloriaD5767 must be an age thing

  • @GloriaD5767 Both fantastic horses. I love them always have , I have five three ex racehorses. If your a true horse lover it could be about how they poop and you would fall in love with it.......LOL My fave movie called Champions about a British Racehorse. When I trained at New Market I got to ride him.....

  • she's sexy hoho :D

  • Cannot wait for this movie to be released in Australia!! Phar Lap is my all-time favourite movie, and Seabiscuit is not too far behind!! I'm predicting in the next 5-10 years, they'll do a film about Makybe Diva. If you don't know who that is, research!!

  • @Apsenniel09 If you have a multiplayer dvd player you can order it on amazon, but i think it comes out 25th January.

  • why the fuck is it always abut brown horses and racing?! it starting to get boring!!!!

  • @GaceWindel99 It's a movie based on a true story about the real life racing horse, Secretariat. What did you expect? Go watch the animated "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" if you want to watch a horse movie that has no racing.

  • @GaceWindel99 the movie Ruffian isnt about a brown male racehorse its about an almost coal black filly racehorse, and a true story....

  • I saw this movie in theaters and I must say it was one f the best I have ever seen. I grew up on horse racing farms as my dad was a trainer form Wamazon Horse Racing farm in KY. I just love this move. She did a amazing job of playing Penny.

  • she scares me...-good.

  • this movie was amazing...even though i don't live in USA and never herd from this horse i loved it (i did research a little) but i will stick with the horses of my country, but what this horse did was amazing

  • this movie was so great OMG I cant describe It... My love for horses is starting to light up again <3 The greatest racehorse that ever lived :)

  • i'm totally gonna see it!!!

  • too anciosa para este filme chegar ao brasil !!

  • Hmmm...lot's of what you'd call "poetic license".

  • fabulous movie

  • you're about to see somebody that you ain't never seen before!!!!!!

  • AHHHH want to see it!!!!

  • This Kinda reminds me of Seabiscuit.

  • @nikkijaneallison Ofc it is gonna remind you on Seabiscuit cause this is similar thematic, but u need to know one thing, Secretariat is the greatest horse that ever lived, he still healds records on 2 of 3 biggest races in america...40 yeaers and with all genetic improvments and stuff they still cannot beat his records...

  • @nikkijaneallison To differentiate them,we can call Secretariat the Prodigy, and Seabiscuit the Hardworker. Those are their only differences, but they both became great racehorses.

  • america's best racehorse ever, the Belmont is the most incredible flat race I have ever saw!!! It was over at the first turn!!! What a horse!!!!

  • this was the best movie of the year!!! it made me cry, laugh, anxious, and happy! i got chills when that man said" your gonna see somethin you aint never seen before!"

  • Does anyone know the name of the song playing from 2:04 onward? I've looked online, but so far I've found nothing. Any help would be appreciated

  • I certainly hear you on that! But your comment about Secretariat is just so unwarranted. There was never the slightest trace of evidence that that horse was ever drugged.

  • this movie looks AMAZING!!!!!

  • I watched this the day it came out! It was absolutely stunning! As soon as it began, with those beautiful words that the woman stated, I was nearly in tears! I don't know why, it just brought so much of an emotional feeling to me. I love that movie, I reccomend it to anyone who has ever dreamed big!

  • I can´t believe that Disney has to work on another horse movie! Sry but this Dreamer stuff was enough for me as rider. I don´t care what comment answers I get, but this double story movies Disney makes are annoying. Why making some money fantasy time - race horse storys if the horse this movie is made for is cool enough! Maybe not cool for kids, but for fans & horse lovers. *sigh at least there are going to be nice race scenes. -_-

  • Some people dont like the movie, but I have to say they all are wrong...they have to watch it for the truth as I watched it at Free Movie Zone . n e t

  • @kenpearl90 : You really think you're going to get "the truth" for free....? Oliver Stone pulls that trick on us routinely. His nickname should be "Red Herring".

  • this is a peice of crap

  • So sad, buzzclick500, that you are so cynical. That horse was not doped. Simply spectacular.

  • @mwjohnston1 : Not cynical, just aware of what people are capable of when they really want to win. It's become, if you haven't noticed, "unfashionable" to question things openly and demand proof when things don't look right to perceptive minds. We hated the Russians so much that we turned into them. ;])

  • I was disappointed, the movie was more about Penny than it was about Secretariat, and I didn't care for how they did the races, especially Belmont.

  • Comment removed

  • @buzzclick500 The horse was not doped. But his heart had a weight of 2 normal horse hearts. And most horses with such a speed have that.

This is much, a wonder of the nature for example, but not doping. ;)

  • @Rimfaxe96 : At least YOUR explanation makes more sense than cmf4321's pro-media diatribe. ;])

  • @buzzclick500 *shrug It´s just the truth. And biology. And some logic too.^^ And who the heck can believe TODAY what the media says! xD Guess the newest race horse stars are quite bad then, cause I never saw anything in newspapers. Except some rare race horse magazines. XD

  • @Rimfaxe96 : I just find it odd that this happened shortly after Nixon took us off the gold standard, the oil embargo happened, the United Nations accepted communist China and rejected Taiwan, then along comes a horse named "Secretariat"(the title of the head of the communist party)and does this phenomenal thing in front of the world. It just smells strange.

  • @buzzclick500 Well, I really believe that the 20th century was a year of the racehorses. The greatest ones lived at that time. And thoroughbreds have the problem that each one of them needs 1 special name, and it can´t be used by another one(only 100 years later I think). That´s why racehorse owner are quite... creative when they make names XXD Also from communist partys^^ (if they get the permission to use it)

  • @Rimfaxe96 : One good thing about the communists is that you can use anything from them without permission, because they cannot lawfully own anything--everything in their possession is stolen. They represent lawlessness. Yes, the 20th Century was good for racehorses, as well of other symbols of wealth. ;]

  • @buzzclick500 Drugged? Envy. THE greatest miracle of nature had the supernatural greatness than YOU will never achieve. If you die tomorrow..no one cares. Secretariat was on the front page of every newspaper WORLDWIDE. His life had significance. Your life & death has absolutely nothing to write about. In the scheme of life...yours doesn't matter to the rest of us. Secretariat gave people the hope of greatness..We will never be reading about you in any history book. I guarantee it.

  • @cmf4321 : Oh, yes, the "news" media. Well, we must all bow and respect the "news" media", right? After all, if it wasn't for them, how would any of us common people ever know what's really going on? Wait a minute....aren't these the same people harping on the rain forests all the time, while consuming billions of pounds of pulp paper from fast-growing trees in....the rain forests? No, I'm sorry, but I can't picture myself envying a horse....
