Guppy and Platy Fry

My platy had her babies over the weekend while I wasn't home and I haven't been able to find any of them... All thanks to my boyfriend for not leaving her in the nursery. : / So all of the babies she had are probably long gone by now.

if i have an overstocked tank and when platys are born is it ok to move them to a dif tank?

so i have 3 males now should i get 1 gfemale or like 3 females or what there are 1 silver dollar fosh in the tank 2 bleeding hearts 1 rainbow fish 1 mollie and 3 red wag platys what do i do now

well im getting a 36 bow front amazeing awsome aquirium with a kit anyways i will get alot of the same kind of fish because im not just ogonna have 1 of each kind so i will get the platys but tshud i get like all boys or all girls or something and same with the guppies if they mait once it wud be nice to have just like 5 babies and how dose the procces work once the babies are there shud i put them somewhere else in a seprate container or what

@devonmeloan get few males and the rest females if you can. Aquarium needs a lot of hiding places (plants are good for this) for the fry to survive.

@devonmeloan Don't have to do much, make sure you have male and female and have LOTS of small hiding places for the fry. In my aquarium the whole tank was full of plants.

@Amitrix0 is it ok that after my platty mait i can give like 2 of the females away because i dont want them to mait again i dont want like a million babies im just asking for like a few and how many eggs dose it lay each time?

@devonmeloan the first spawn isnt very much like 10-15 usually, the 2nd and 3rd time you get more and more, usually stopping at around 30-40 a spawn

Can we breed Fantail Guppies and Platys together because i am trying it and i am Trying to breed Guppy with Molly also what would happen?
