Good Video, did any one notice when she got spooked a little bit by the truck sound as it went past at 0:59 There where a few times when she wanted to join up with the handler as well pretty cool. No one told her that this movie is for demonstration purposes lol

My best friend just bought what we call a "string horse" He came from a trail riding/dude ranch type of stable. Any recommendations for trying to get him to being able to go somewhere by himself w/o that herd mentality. He so wants to join the herd.

I think that you are naturally good with horses but instead of just letting them run and run to get out there energy, why don't you use that energy for something useful and play with her a little but. She probably gets bored just running in there. If i were you I would get her to use her brain a little bit and ask her to do more instead of just letting her run.

@Kenz8010 Often I do slow her down right of the bat and get her to do more brainy things, but sometimes when she's got this much energy, I just let her get it out of her system. Different approaches, different days, different techniques. Some trainers don't let their horses do much running at all--as if it's some kind of bad thing. Too much brain work and not enough running. I say there's a happy balance of the two. Thank you for your thoughtful input. I appreciate it : )

@actionadventures Lol! I have to admit...I watch and comment on a lot of other nature and weather vids here on YouTube and have overused FAR too many words in some of my comments. "Cool" and "Great" were the first to go. But don't get me wrong! It's not because I'm THAT lazy that I have to use the same words over again! There are just so many amazing vids out there that deserve such words! I think it's time I find a dictionary; get a bit more advanced LOL!

Hi Lincoln,

She really is beautiful! My family on my father's side used to be trainers, owners, and jockeys. I love watching a horse play and exert that extra energy. They are amazing animals. My favorite moment was when I watched Secretariat win the Triple Crown.
