  • @ilikepie2450 Thanks for helping out and answering questions of others. I've been so busy with school and work! Alternatively, you can access the "work" page using the main navigation at the upper right.

  • i searched for this everywhere in your blog , but i can't seem to find the sheet =S ! please help !

  • OH MY GOD IT'S IN G flat RUUUUUUN

  • btw, did you revise your sheets? I dl the one off the site in the description and it seems to be quite diff.

  • @CIoudFire Yes. The version on my website includes a short introduction from the longer version, but the rest should be the same. Thanks!

  • good job man! i reallie like ur version... u are crazie with the notations tho, lol

  • Dear zeryx28,

I intially found you through your beautiful "Lilium" arrangement, and I was awe-struck by it. Needless to say, when I looked through your other videos and found this, I instantly thought "No way, he did the Theme of Love?!" and proceeded to listen to it. I was not disappointed.

Thank you for arranging this. And thank you for making it available for other pianists. Thank you.

P.S. You deserve far more than 2,392 views. This is a masterpiece.

  • @77AsianPride77 Wow, thanks for such a thoughtful comment. Made my day.

  • @zeryx28

I'm glad it made your day. In fact, your day should be made everyday for just this alone.

  • anyone trying or has tried to memorize this? if so how's it comming along?

  • Amazing! I like it a lot? Is it possible to download these scores somewhere? Thank you.

  • @kelajno Thanks! Of course. See video description.

  • is there any patterns in the scales that i can look for? cause this looks very difficult to memorize.

  • @mrblingblingking Well, you could always perform it with the sheet music. Problem solved. ;D Kidding ... I am not sure I understand what you mean by "scales" in your context. Do you mean the 6-eighth-note figures that occur in a descending fashion through out the first theme? I would advise to listen to the original song many times (the one sung by Ida Emi) and pay close attention to the shape of the melodic line. Over time it should sink in.

  • @mrblingblingking Try muscle memory >_< sometimes the brain forgets it but the fingers remember

  • Amazing work, being a bit of a composer myself I have to say this is just about flawless. Only a few parts bug me and those are because you can only do so much with programmed piano, for example I felt like the fourth beat on 41 wasn't really held long enough. But honestly, the rest of this work outshines those tiny little details.

  • Wow, this one is really great! Easily beats the Piano Collections version, imho. Also, I didn't know that Fukui was involved with the song in the DS version, I love some of his other compositions, he is a very underrated composer (his Einhänder score is one of a kind). You're comfortable in and in control of so many different styles, it's amazing.

  • @Verdegrand Wow thanks! Yeah, I was listening to the Piano Collections version and found it not very satisfying, so I went to arrange a version based on the music video.

  • @coryn1250 I use Sibelius to notate my compositions. For the MP3 file, I ouput a MIDI file using Sibelius, and then I pass it through an external sample library, because I find the default Sibelius library for the piano sound to be a bit too harsh and generic.

  • @coryn1250 Are you referring to the wavy line? It is actually not an accent, but rather a symbolic indication telling the pianist to play the chord as an arpeggio. There is probably some Italian term for the wavy line of which I am unaware.

  • Wow, Vincent! Really good arrangement!

  • I wanted to give it a thumb up but wasn't allowed to do so. Why?

  • @MgcMrMistoffelees Beats me. Youtube messes up sometimes.

  • awesome!
