Zidane is in the top 10 footballers for sure, Ronaldo is in the top 10 strikers for sure. That's a difference. Zidane was way more intelligent and technical than Ronaldo. Ronaldo was very technical aswell, but not as technical as Zidane. Zidane could actually score a header and take a free kick. Zidane was a gentleman. Hate to break it for the Ronaldo fans, but Zidane was simply more complete.

in 2002-2007 he went to real madrid and beat MU scoring hatrick and Barcelona 4-2.
In 2007-2008 he went to AC milan to play for fun and keep winning. 2009 he stills play for corinthians until 2011.
Thats more than 11 years of playing the best and made 480 appearance and 300+ goals while zidane 680 appearance and only 128 goal. also ronaldo scord 15 World C

Without they're talisman the French lost both games so he was prematurely rushed in for the third without havin a full recovery. It wasn't enough however and France was eliminated from the wc. :( but you know damn well if zidane wasn't injured he had a good chance at winnin that wc. Jus like he almost did with the 2006 wc.

Zidane is great no doubt but many people have forgotten it was Ronaldo who won the golden ball(best player) at France 98.Zidane wasnt even in the top 5(Thuram made it to the list as a defender).Moreover France had it's best generation and defence ever playing in that year whereas Ronaldo was carrying Brazil on his shoulders(never known to have a solid backline).Had it not been for injury,this video might well have been Ronaldo vs Maradona/Pele. However,Zidane is no doubt a legend.
