Is it me, or the older you get, the more you start noticing that the good guys aren't always 100%T "good"? Rewatching this episode, I kindof felt bad for the Thanagarians. They were messed up trying to destroy Earth and all, but I hope they managed to find a way back home after this episode. Their people need them. Shayera should have returned to Thanagar to help the Resistance that was mentioned to remove the invaders and retake their homeworld, and rebuild. In fact I would've loved to see a few episodes exploring this, where one or two Justice League members accompany her and work with the underground resistance through years of strife- both to clear Shayera's name and to prove to the Thanagarians that Earth's heroes are benevolent and mighty, and that Earth was worth saving at the expense of Thanagar.
