I listened to the entire album top to bottom for the first time today. They kind of write one song only. It's a realllllly good song, but variety is lacking. Hopefully the 2012 release shows some growth from track one to the last track.

@starkidpollard I understand that each song has a different message, and that each tune's lyrics and melody are different, but every song follows nearly the same formula I feel; solid lyric performance, whimsical piano bit, subtle addition of either strings or trumpet. Just my two cents, I'm here for Nate Ruess haha.
