To me, Kaji Meiko's music was as compelling as any I'd ever heard.

@KazeTenno The theory behind it is that he relationship with O-Ren was the strongest. Hence the little inside joke - "Silly Rabbit/Trix are for kids". And the fact that The Bride knows so much of the back story behind O-Ren's life. Somethign very personal, which an assassin would never reveal should it be seen as a sign of weakness. Hence the tear before killing her.

But this movie is actually tarentinos retro love letter to old samurai grind-house flicks that are 5 hours long. he music is a remake of a please don't let me be misunderstood by esmeralda. Its a 70s funky jazz rock fusion that was popular in the era and when you look at movies such as Sex and Fury the whole movie is filled with music like this.
