They accused him of blasphemy. Verse that you quoted is Jesus’ answer to them. That does not mean he is god, if that is what are you trying to prove.
However, you did not comment about similarity between John 10:30 and John 17:20-23.

Ironic how your entire post relies on reasoning though, otherwise how would you conclude that faith does not equal reason (a faulty claim, but still a connection made using logic and a false premise). In addition, Paul said dat if we receive Christ as savior, we now live under grace, not under the law. The freedom purchased by Christ tru His death does not mean you are "free" to sin in a sense that "criminals are free to go and wreak havoc in society". This is b/c Christ's death on the cross buys us freedom from what Paul called "slavery to sin." We're now given the grace and freedom to live in righteousness.

we have no hope of eternal life without the sacrificial Lamb of God. Jesus was prophesized in early scripture. the only way to get to Heaven is to live a perfect life, which none of us can do. all sin is the same and is not permissable in the sight of God. one sin will send you to hell. that is why Jesus came and lived a perfect life and died for us. Christians need to read the bible as many of them claim to be but do not read nor follow the bible. People used to tell me the bible is the word of God later the same people told me it is inspired by God, now many people are rejecting the bible as many of the Christian scholars are saying it not in the original form (not translations but in different versions) and accepting Islam.
