I may be wrong but,

I think they're dressed this way because there was a lot of fuss over the album being supposedly aimed at children (due to the cover and title) whilst it has "obscene messages and lyrics."

Therefor the band is dressed in a way that would appeal to kids and E is the devil as he is corrupting them with his lyrics.

Like I say I could be wrong, ha.

Most probably they had to sing on a backing track for this show. E probably hates this. So they made fun of it, by dressing up ridiculously. E dresses up like a devil, because he's selling his soul for commercial purposes.
