The Olympic host cities have rarely ever made a profit, that is a verifiable fact. In fact most host cities have had to be bailed out with million and even billions of dollars. The Olympic host cities have rarely ever made a profit, that is a verifiable fact. In fact most host cities have had to be bailed out with million and even billions of dollars. That's all we need in the midst of a recession, make things worse. This administration is doing that quite well without any outside help from the IOC. Chicago has been named the most corrupt city in the US for tens years now, this would of been a feeding frenzy for the Chicago corruption.

It was strange that Obama went to Copenhagen to push for Chicago's nomination because that's something an autocrat (like Putin) or a leader of small nation would do. It would also be something a populist would do to increase his public support. I think Obama was hoping to make an impression on the committee and gain support in Chicago, but failed rather miserably. It is a little odd, however, that Glenn Beck and Hannity are almost rooting for America to lose.

What is strange is why Obama (aka The Most Powerful Person on Earth) went to Copenhagen to promote his hometown. This is usually done by mayors of individual cities (or like I already mentioned, autocrats and populists), not presidents of powerful nations democratic.
