An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
The thing about Henry is he listens. Even when a guest goes slightly away from his question he isnt leaping in to redirect which makes for a very natural and fascinating interview.
The emphasis on truth and illumination, on ecstatic truths, and how to prevoke cognitionof truth within an audience in an age of CGI exceeding the verite of the 60s, raises tome as much the question of the manufacture of falsehood, the truth of the limitations binding and binding, much as one would see a Godelein transcendance ensue upon, if only to loosen once more the girders of the souls seeking certainties in securities of unthreatening imagination.
@eyeworks88 Perhaps not the most poignant question, but it did lead to Herzog's brilliant response - "You do not move mountains with money. You move mountains with faith"
i hate how interviewers nowadays in mainstream tv just keep on asking their questions, obviously without understanding what the people say and without keeping asking in order to understand or challange philosophical ideas... its just presenting and managing and time-saving and stupid-keeping of the audience...
@flagwaver1969 I think Herzog is not so discriminatory and I like that. someone like Herzog who can talk with all kind of people, no matter how educated he is, has all my respect. It's easy to feel smart in front of people who had not been educated like you. it seems Herzog doesn't act like a snob, because he's not. it seems he's very respectful to other cultures.
Tough guy Rollins shellshocked by eternal hippy tough guy Werner Herzog, legend. Two thoroughly likeable, intelligent men. I could have listened to them for three more hours. Thanks so much for posting.
Check out the assassination vid!
Check out Grizzly man - fantastic. You start the film thinking of the bear man as a total idiot but end up feeling for him and feeling really sorry for him and his girl. Amazing filmmaking.
@dmcfs3 I am a European too but do not generalize. Henry Rollins is a great guy and I think he is smart. But lets not forget he is a host of a talkshow not and university symposium. He conducts the chat well and motivates Werner to share his thoughts. The fact that Werner gives us a great speech is half of Rollin's merit.
I remember Akira Kurosawa lovingly writing about his encounter with Werner Herzog, reminiscing how Herzog's kindness and sincerity had touched him. Herr Herzog seems to have a gift to attract people. I'm utterly fascinated. Every sentence coming out his mouth is a gem.
The more interviews I see Rollins do, the more I understand why people call him a "bad interviewer".. he is completely contrary to their expectations.
He treats his guests with respect, doesn't put them in a glitzy set or crack jokes over what they say. He's not Leno, or Letterman, or any of the late night talk show hosts. He's actually INTERESTED in what they have to say, in finding out about them.
It's more accurate to call it a conversation, rather than an interview, IMO.
Disagree kinda. I great interview is a conversation, yes. And a great interviewer should be judged by his follow up questions. Contrasting Rollins to Leno etc, or their environments is a slow pitch. @Goose511th um..im not sure rollins understood wat herzog was talking about...sign of a bad interviewer, when he doesnt get the part about reality generation, and the difference between truth and that type of creation

"Werner HERZOG is the greatest European director alive since the the greatest of them all passed away. Ingmar BERGMAN - I do recommend the YouTube interview.
@TheEvilelvis89 / I met him in person several years ago. I was living in Genoa (IT) back then and working in an Opera Theatre. As you may know Herzog also directed Operas and I approached him after the first press-conference about theshow. He is indeed very approachable and always finds a moment to speak with anyone interested in his work.
Rollins and his antithesis lol! Rollins: cynical, literal, banal, Herzog: transcendant, ethereal, ascendant... An incredible juxtaposition. It would be great if we could see the positions reversed through a telecast from another dimension perhaps!
@Kalinack / I don't agree with your analysis... Werner is less ethereal than you might think... his movies are physical as much as transcendent (you just have to see the relationship he had with Kinsky to understand it) and Henry is less physical than what I was thinking. I recently saw him live and he has changed and matured a lot since he was a "rockstar".
As much as you may admire Herzog, I need some more evidence for the statement about LA having the most "substance" of any place in the US. If you consider that garbage is and has substance, perhaps his statement holds some truth. Maybe his definition of truth, which likely doesn't fit mine, is where the problem occurs.
Anyway, good luck with trying to ignore all of the fake tits and other shite.
Thank you Werner. I was just about to lose a little faith in my current film project. As for money, I've never had any, so I'm glad to hear that moving mountains will nevertheless still be within my grasp.
@youlosez. It was an intro level junket interview promoting the DVD of Grizzly Man. Rollins had 7 minutes. He covered Fitzcarraldo, attitudes to the Hollywood machine and LA as a city, new documentaries vs Cinema Verite, and getting shot...More in depth material is easily accessible for those intrigued by this.
Being from Germany I just love Werner's accent, he talks like my mum (who never had access to any original English being spoken when she learned it in the 1930). Unbelievable. Billy Wilder couldn't make it up. Bully for him with the shooting (sic). And loves me some Henry R, neck bigger than his head. Loved him as a performer, love him as a host, bless US TV. Eventhough cutting into Werner was a tough job. Thanks for posting. Great men.

Werner Herzog is a RIP OFF!! how dare you try to make the bad leutinant!! You fucked that movie up! nicholas cage is to soft to be a crooked cop!! Stop butchering classics!! i knew some lame movie maker was gonna fuck my favorite movie up! HARVEY should shoot you for that!!
I honestly have know idea why Herzog chose such a smelly cast for any film... Nicholas Cage is ok in some parts... but his latest films have sucked. And Xzibit... wft.... it sounds like a joke to me.
But you really have to see one of ANY of the fantastic films Werner Herzog has directed before you can call him some lame movie maker. He's a director who goes so far for his films.
Glad he finally got an Oscar nomination but it's unlikely he will ever win won. Hollywood rarely recognizes genius like that. But I'd settle for a Lifetime Achievement Oscar.

You leave Herzog alone! He moved a riverboat over a mountain! Pull that off, and you have the right to judge.

Glad he finally got an Oscar nomination but it's unlikely he will ever win won. Hollywood rarely recognizes genius like that. But I'd settle for a Lifetime Achievement Oscar.

This shot, for Herzog, only serves as inspiration for another film. He is a genius.

Werner is a fascinating sociopath, which explains in part why he was so intrigued by Treadwell, another fascinating sociopath.

At least he got an Oscar nomination this year. Werner Hezog is a grand credit to Germany.
