thank you so much for this, cant wait for the release. Ronno is such an underrated musician and needs be heard. I also come from Hull and i cant express enough how much of an influence he is on my own playing, i put him up there with Jimi, there aren't many that have that kind of control.

'Who is your all time favorite guitarist?'

The answer instantly and singularly is MICK RONSON !!!

For me the man totally and completely defined what a guitarist is and should be in 'every' way.

Sure there are many greats but there was and will forever be only one 'RONNO'. It's been 36 years since I first heard and saw this man perform, and the sounds and images he produced forever remain indelibly etched in the ears and eyes of my mind. 'Ronno RIP!'

Glad to see all the comments about this clip of ours. Documentary is due out in the autumn and I am confident you will love it. So many great interviews with his friends and contemporaries plus a wonderful unseen interview with Kevin Caan that has never been seen. Mick tells his own story about his early career as well as his meeting with David Bowie and his whole take on Ziggy. All heady stuff.
