  • Does Vega have Tinnitus?

  • damn,she´s hot.

  • Even though the comments are quite old, with respect to the comments about what the song is about, it's about Suzanne meeting her biological father after many years

  • I can remember seeing this on Letterman the night she did it live. I love this song.

  • ALANIS M, CHRISSY RUSSO, JEN ANISTON, PRN, AND TOM C. DO DINERS ONLY!!!! FURIOUS GEETAR STRUMMIN', STEVE MARTIN, and BERNIE PETERS. YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH BABE.

  • why is she dressed like the star st elmos fire?

  • I loved her in that period! To me 99.9F° is her best record, edgy, dark and cool, one that still fascinates me after all these years, closely followed by "beauty and crime" and "9 objects of desire", that (to me) share a very quite style of song structures and orchestration.

  • @inlovewithpindakaas I like to think that this was to her what 'Hounds of Love' was to Kate Bush. A really nice summary of everything she'd already done - kicked into orbit by some fab productions . . .

  • @inlovewithpindakaas Wow. Thought I was one of the only ones who loved this album and time period of Suzanne's career. LOVE this album .. and Beauty and Crime is also my second favorite .. . . You will sleep better know that, Yes?

  • I saw her live at a small place in Manchester during this period (same boyish clothes)...it was the transition from her older acoustic sound to her funkier sound....which did not really suit her or maximize her songs. Thankfully (post-divorce) she has returned to the simpler style which suits her talents best...

  • @eldiran2 - Disagree. 99.9 and Nine Objects of Desire are absolutely fantastic.

  • @1969DMA And yet she has gone back to her earlier style, sort of reconfirming that this period was an attempt to Be Different (influenced, surely, by her husband's edgier taste). I still say that her "message" comes across much more personally and artistically in her more acoustic stuff pre-and-post marriage.

  • @eldiran2 Actually this was the last time she did anything that set her apart from anyone else . . . .

I like her more recent stuff - but's she's stopped doing things that no-one else can do.

  • @JonnyBoyMach2 Actually, I think being Herself and doing simple unadorned stuff (that is, pre-and-post '99' and 'Nine Objects') was much more daring, and THAT is what set her apart from everyone else--that she was authentic. The more edgy stuff seemed a pretense...and obviously was, for she has returned to her simpler acoustic style, for which I am thankful.

  • esta canción núnca la he dejado de escuchar, durante muchos años, es perfecta

  • i really like this song

  • I love this song.

  • I´d like to help you doctor yes i really...makes me smiling allways

  • The rhythm beats just in tune with my own vibes. I got in the store where it played and it just hit me, it was almost as if some part of me was out of my body talking to me. It's the rhythm, the bg, I checked her other things - not a mile close to this one. Powerful.

  • lol 2 the schizophrenia comment. i am off my meds right now and not sleeping and this song is again one of my favorites at the moment! lol. i think about it with my bipolar dis. & schiz (schizoaffective)... it's like not everything is a hallucination... things do really makes noises that don't normally register and when u are psychotic u are in tuned to them u just sometimes misinterpret and freak out...

  • Is this song about schizophrenia?

  • It's about AIDS

  • She reminds me of Annie from the movie "Oklahoma" (not her singing).

  • this song was released when industrial music was popular. it was producer mitchell froom idea to put some industrial-sounding noise.

  • I remember seeing this performance when it first aired and instantly loved the song. That bass part is sick.

  • the bass part is the reason why i´m watching this...

  • Fantastic!

  • love the song but, yes, it's kinda creepy. in a good way.

  • I got to see her on this tour, it was awesome.

  • all I know is that this song is GREAT.

  • i can only imagine how much disturbing it must have been for the audience. this song is great, but really not that much accessible for large markets.

  • i suppose, but once that bass kicks in i think it's pretty accessible.

  • for me that is, cause i love her and the song as well, but the drum metal loop is sorta claustrophobic at times.
