Unfortunatley there is no option on youtube to do this yet. It does appear that you would have to reupload your videos. Me and a few others are working on asking youtube

to make videos in 4:3 to load up in the original size player. If you're anything like me you'll agree that watching a video that isn't enclosed properly in a window doesn't look right. I don't know anyone in the world that uses the 4:3 option on a widescreen television having to view in a little rubbish box. Many stick it into 16:9 and forgive the slight stretch on the video.
