Challenger 3985 UP Steam Locomotive

I did see the Norfolk and Western Class A in the early 90`s. And I`d seen 3985 several times. Both are impressive, but the Class A was a bit larger and you could sense it had more power which it did.

I guess you're lucky to get a catch like that without hordes of people getting in the way.

I'm old enough to remember when big-time steam was an everyday thing.

Wonder if you'll ever see a Big Boy steaming over there again.............probably not !!
