  • The rhyme is silly, even despide being witten for younger school age, and the cartoon is simply worthless.

Not owndering I neve saw this as kid.

    Greets from USSR.

  • @acb1511 this was written by Marshak, the famous children's book writer. Mister Twister is the classic of his work, even if it is pure propaganda. You must be pretty young if you never saw this cartoon. I saw it many times when I was growing up in the 80s. It was one of my faves.

  • @TVZombie3000 The rhyme i of course know))))

  • Mirá que le pongo voluntad, ¡pero no se ve nada, amigo!

  • Bystander81 well, its only because in goverment was most of non russian(jew here is nationality) politics, and the country just broke because of them.

  • The irony of this is that if you go to Russia today there's more racial tension and hatred against blacks, jews, asians, muslims, indians, Georgians, gypsies, and pretty much anybody else who isn't Russian, than there ever was in the USA. My old roommate is from Georgia, but he grew up in Moscow and he was abused constantly and even to this day fears to stay out too late because of police harassment or skinheads.

  • @Bystander81 cause Russia is capitalistic ruled since 20 years. And capitalism = facism...

  • @Bystander81 bs propaganda. Blacks? What blacks? We do not have ex-slaves from Africa, that would be your country. Jews? Are in highest gvt positions, President Medvedev, Zhirinovsky are Jewish. Asians? What do you mean by "Asians", clueless guy? Russia is 80% in Asia, so we can be considered Asian ourselves, many also have Tartar-Mongol genes. There is lots of mutual hatred between Russia and Georgia, since Saakhashvili's attempt to ethnically cleanse Abkhasia and South Ossetia.

  • @moodyarcticfox You can discuss that with the skinheads that are constantly causing trouble in your country. You can try to cover it up all you want, but the world sees it. I've spoken with many people from Russia (I'm from Boston originally, a lot of Russian immigrants), especially Jews and people from the neighboring countries, who say they've been the victims of racial violence and threats and all kinds of horrible things in Russia, far worse than in the US.

  • @Bystander81 no, i think you should discuss it with those guys who pissed on corpses of arabs they just killed.

  • @moodyarcticfox Communist Russia was in the business of mass killing arabs long before we got there.

  • @Bystander81 Afghans heve nothing to do with arabs, definitely. It is quiet the same as Chechens, Georgians or any other people like that.

A mountain tribial society, nothig similar.

  • @Bystander81 No big surprise. When the Soviet Union went under the anti-communist sentiment made it a haven for neo-nazis.

    Kind of like Idaho.

  • Say what you will about economic philosophies, capitalism produced better animated cartoons.

  • @kalevra

1.russian doesn't mean soviet or communist. there is no nation which can boast of not having rasists among its people. unfortunately. can you name a language which doesnt have insulting rasists nicknames?

2.have you ever heard about rasists movements in ussr? and compare with post-gorbachov's russia. shame we have lost such a great coutry..

  • That black guy was darker than the blackest of midnights xD

  • nice animation and great translation into english. unfortunately, while being right on the money in criticizing the racism of americans, the soviet union then and russia today are not immune from racism. the word "chernozhopyy", meaning "black ass" , is a derogatory russian term for non-whites, and was and still is commonly used my many russians.

  • The moral of the story: Don't be a racist, or communist hotels will all conspire against letting you have a room.

  • @spacehelmetforacow

I worked in Holliday Inn and i can tell you that its true that most of americans ask to be far of the blacks, asians, arabs, or wathever people that dont fit in the KKK club

  • @spacehelmetforacow Hotel standard in the soviet union was awful..and there were quite a lot of racism in the soviet union, the world last big Empire...with 100 nationalities, most of which didn t feel themselves russian at all.

  • how does it rhyme in english if its in russian?

  • @littlebiddyteapot & @commissarusa The English literal translation was re-worded to sound more like a poem or story.

  • This is a very sad piece of animation. So dark and grim....

  • I like how they made the subtitles rhyme too. that's awesome.

  • @commissarusa

It is because the cartoon is based on a poem for kids, same titele "Mister Twister"

  • @commissarusa that`s because the poem has been translated and issued in various languages
