  • ye it is truly nice.

  • Absolutely inspiring!

  • Wonderful

    Sure would love a "transcript"

Adapting and evolving, teachers digitally empower diverse learners to connect, communicate, collaborate and create in a interactive technology-rich environment.

  • Great video. We need to grow and learn as educators to reach our students.

  • Thank you for sharing your video. I will be using it next week at a county inservice on digital writing. Thanks for helping us bridge the digital divide.

  • As an administrator in a technologically advanced high school, I still find that even given all the tools, toys, and training, our teachers fall into two categories - those who completely embrace the 21st opportunities to teach via tekki tools and have fun with it and those who still fear the "terminology" , the training, the "change" of what the future learners need now. My challenge is to help those teachers embrace rather than fear the 21st century technology teaching opportunities.

  • @eescienceteacher I don't think that all of those who are reluctant to embrace technology fear it as much as they are afraid that our children are losing basic skills. Our great-grandparents designed this entire country with nothing but pencil, paper, and their minds and they built it with blood, sweat, and tears. Technology should be a tool to enhance education, not become the curriculum. If we continue with our complete and total reliance on technology, we are doomed as a society.

  • inspiring video...perfect

  • Education, communication, global understanding, PEACE!

  • This is great! Nice to see the teacher version and vision

  • INSPIRING! Yes, it is difficult to leave our comfort zones, but it also exhilerating to imagine the possibilities for teaching and learning using digital media. Wouldn't it be the perfect world to engage every student in learning? I know what uncertainty feels like as I train to be an online teacher, but I am embracing the possibilities that technology is offering. I just sent a group text to my students: Tomorrow our warm up is for you to come in with ideas about technology and learning.

  • @gwenyork1

Online learning offers great possibilities for extending the reach of education. Your "embracing" technology should help you take the extra steps required for fostering a sense of community with online learners--sometimes a challenge. Thanks for your comment and good luck in your career.

  • @misskimbobee

Thanks for your comment. Many would say that all of teaching involves "endless possibilities." Good luck with your career as an educator.

  • A friend introduced this video to me as I'm currently in charge in my school's digital learning and teaching project. As there are some teachers who can't really understand English, I made a version with Chinese subtitles. But, if you think it's inappropriate, I can remove it anytime. Thanks for sharing!

  • @huiqin33

We are very pleased that you have made the video's message accessible to Chinese-speaking teachers, students, parents, and community members. Together, for the sake of all, we can help inspire a forward-thinking approach to education. Thank you for your efforts!

  • I find it amazing how much technology we can use in so many disciplines. I appreciate this great opportunity to learn about these things.

    Ellen Correll

  • Wow - so fabulous. Just what I was looking for to use with my staff!

  • Greetings from Poland, although on the Californian online platform. ;-)

    Best wishes,

  • Loved it! Quite applicable for the organizational workplace too! Will use it a lot!. Sergio Storch, KM Consultant, Brazil

  • Love it! Showing that back to back with the "Vision of the 21st Cent. Student" really hits home. Helps in my PD sessions! Thanks!

  • @duncanpatti

Professional development is an essential for change. Thank you, Patti, for your work and your comment.

  • This is a fantastic video that captures essentially all the possibilities of integrating technologies with all curricular areas. Great job!

Would you please upload to TeacherTube as YouTube is blocked in most school districts? This is a must for every teacher to see. Thanks so much.

  • @dellaacurtis1

Thank you. We hope we have contributed to the view that technology has a place in all content areas.

  • Excellent points raised on why & how to use edtech in the classroom. Well done!

  • I love this video. The combination of fun and real, sincere commitment inspires me!

  • @kevinessdack

Thanks for your comment, Kevin. We enjoy your "I Need My Teachers to Learn" video.

  • Muy bueno, very good !!!

  • @ramon3434

    Muchas gracias!

  • Wow...outstanding...can't wait to share this with my faculty. Gave me goosebumps!

  • @bdowning78 Hope the video provokes discussion and reflection with your faculty.

  • I am a teacher and I was very moved by this video. It seems that the word "teacher" is under attack these days. Many people call us dinosaurs on the verge of extinction due to the digital revolution. This video shows clearly how we teachers can, do, and will play a very important role in learning.

  • @ThinkArtWorks

We are evolving--some like meteors, some like glaciers--but we are evolving.
