Interesting. A good video, but it should be noted that the part ab out subliminal advertising had been shown to be false. A guy named James Vicary claimed to have done it in a movie theatre in 1957 but later admitted that he made the whole thing up. Subsequent studies have shown no effect from subliminal images on people's actions.
@Guitcad1 Are you seriously suggesting that it's impossible to do? I would counter that with some of what Derren Brown demonstrated. He actually gave advertised hypnotic suggestions to two advertising executives, and it worked extremely well.
@LanceHertford No. And that's not at all what I said. What I said was that the original claim about subliminal advertising was an admitted hoax and that subsequent studies have shown no effect from subliminal images on people's actions.
When Derren Brown gives advertised hypnotic suggestions to two HUNDRED subjects under strictly controlled conditions and gets greater than chance results, which are then published in a peer-reviewed journal, it will be a lot more convincing.
This is excellent exercise all NLP Masters should taech and learn again and again, its OK to fail but good to continue! Suresh Purohit Master NLP India
Product placement is most definitely still done in films and television now.
