  • aah, that part between 0:35 - 0:41 elegant, love it! The best part in this piece in my opinion!

  • I LOVE IT!!

  • Definitely not Prestissimo.

  • This is the slow movement.

  • The prestissimo Is in the sound , noo in the timeee !!!

  • Well, I don't think this is Richter... It doesn't sound at all like him...

Anyway, it' good, but needed to be a bit faster.

  • @warina87 i think the same thing. This is not Richter. If it is than he plays very shy...

  • This is more like Presto than Prestissimo...

  • this is Prestissimo? it was great but this isn't that fast

  • Stupid man who removed the video of Marc André Hamelin playing this same sonata!!...but this is worth watching, the best performing on youtube

  • i like his comb over

  • i would like to hear martha argerich playing it

  • She doesnt't play Beethoven a lot I think.

  • Martha Argerich, Hah!

  • First time i heard this sonate (Brendel version) I was totally overwelmed, this is so beautiful and of such great genius.

Sviatoslav's Beethoven is always special, like Gould's and others.

I'm a big Beethoven fan among others, exept for his symphonies (except the 9th maybe :))

  • Ahh, I love this piece.

  • Buenas,

Soy nuevo y no sé nada.

    Hi,

    I am new here. I would liker to know about books on Schubert's intepretation and music, and Beethoven and the others;

    Salut,

    Merci d'avance, thanks, muchas gracias

  • Hi, be welcome. I suggest you start with some Wikipedia articles. Then you can visit Amazon and look for books on music. You can read the readers' comments , sometimes read a sample of the book proper too, so you can find what's appropriate for your interests. I wish you many hours of happy listening on YouTube. And I suggest Schubert, Mozart and Chopin for starters.

  • He´s definitelly full of music! Thanks for everything maestro!

  • Definitely I did not know if that was Richter ' s interpretation, but now thanks to him I tend to appreciate Beethoven more than I used too. Definitely I love Richter!

  • Richter Rulez!

  • Brilliant !!!

    Amazing performance!

    Bravo richter !
