I have played in the Stamford coed league for the past two years. We always have permits for our games. We are always respectful to the people that live in the community.
People of all different backgrounds participate. I am not sure what you mean when you say that the fields are exclusive to only one group.
no place for those who don't have permits to play either and who live outside of stamford to play, hang out, drink beer, break bottles all along the parking lot, loud music blasting at 11:00 o'clock at night and making the fields exclusive to one group so no one else can play on them. IS that how you like to meet people?????
I love playing soccer at West Beach. Soccer is a great way to meet new people, and make new friends. The fields are absolutely beautiful, and a great addition to Stamford.
The baseball fields that were previously there were in terrible condition. Broken bottles and glass were everywhere. The grass was dead. It was no place for children to play.

Dan Malloy should be ashamed of himself. Taking public funds for capital projects - not finishing them and then going out to get more funding (bonding) to 'finish' these projects - which are still not complete. I wonder who benefits from Malloy's dirty trictks.....can you say union workers.
It's no surprise that the purple shirts (SEIU) are out in force soliciting their guy Malloy. If you're unfamiliar with SEIU do a bit of research.
Help save CT and vote for Tom Foley on Nov 2, 2010.
I live in Stamford, and know you're right about the construction projects. I avoid that side of Stamford because of it, and have never frequented the businesses around there. I've been in my apartment for a little more than two years, and that area going toward Shippan has been the same mess it has always been. I also know of three large corporations that moved out of Stamford because of the tax incentives to be in other areas. Sad. Thank you for making this video and for looking out for us.
great video, way to go Maureen!

You really need to add title, discription and especially tags to this video so more people will find it.
