I have the 6210 in australia.

'Maps' are free and preloaded on the expandable memory card. no cost to use.

'Navigator' is not free (the directions, turn left etc) however service providers are generally giving away a free 24 month period depend on your plan.

i dont think so, i have a older navigator phone and the maps have been pre loaded on the phone and it doesnt cost me a cent to use the gps

it has a pretty decent player but with the earphones sounds low

good radio signal as much of nokia cellphones

i have it and i really like it but if u like music and stuff buy a memory card (microSD) cause it only have 1 gb (really 650 mb )

Yeah, we were inside the building and tried to get close to the window. It sometimes would lock, other times not. And the compass was working most of the time. I didn't have it long enough to get a feel for it. And BTW, even a normal analogue compass can be wonky. :-)

What a POS. It never even locked on a satellite and when he rotates it 180 the "compass" doesn't even follow. It only rotates less than 45 degrees. LOL!
