Because people that have never seen this before or are fed up with Japan copying and pasting monster battle stories since Pokemon started either get shocked, excited, or they get enraged. I'm pretty passive about it. As a matter of fact, I love anime rpgs where you can catch and raise monsters, so everytime a new series like that comes out, to me, it just means a fun new game to play will soon be out on the shelves. :P

Veronica Taylor is the voice of Max, she also voiced Ash from pokemon. Rachel Lillis and Eric Sturtert(sp) from Pokemon are also in this show, I think they joined this show after Pokemon stopped being dubbed by 4kids, and Dinosaur King is also dubbed by 4kids.
