@modelearth Thanks! 14500 are fairly widely available online. Try ebay. They retail at around £10 (you will also need a charger!). Im saving up for a TK15 myself lol! ITP are good quality affordable lights for sure!
@modelearth A 14500 battery is a 3.7 volt rechargeable lithium battery. Its dimensions are similar to a standard 1.5 volt AA but a few milimetres longer. Having over twice the voltage means that there is more power available. In cold sub zero conditions, lithium batteries also last much longer than standard AA's. I discovered this up a mountain, at night when it was -12oC. Wont forget that in a hurry.
@redeyeboy100 Yes i did - although i dont have measuring equipment i would estimate that it puts out 200 or more lumens, turning this solid little unit into a monster. I suppose it enables you to get the most out of the cree. Cheers!
Great review on this flashlight. I've being using this flashlight for about 9 months and so far no problems at all. It has a very nice throw beam comparing to its size and by the way, my wife washed it twice and so far no leaks. this flashlight is amazing. the sheath that came with the flashlight is not bad at all either.
Just picked up one at the gun show today for $39, love it so far. Bought a A1 EOS for my sister.
