  • great work, using the PAASCHE 700 NICE!!

  • Magik, you are a tremendous talent, but I also liked that you had mentioned the hard work and time you've put into the practice in order to develop; this i very important for people to know. Even if you have the talent and the interest, it's tremendous work to develop it, and it does not come easily or quickly. I work exclusively in drawing (graphite and colored pencil on various supports; paper, Bristol vellum), but the process is the same. Very interesting video.

  • Nice art... Girl is annoying though.

  • helll naw he dont like like spm =\

  • she would have been more tolerable id she was toplless

  • check this out! i mean really check it out guys! ..... ummm wtf? i cant, wanna get up and press the fucking zoom button?!

  • Get out of your head everything everybody else does with it...thats a kick or a treat for later. For now airbrush is itself an art...uses paint, air purssure to 'draw' i dunno thats my definition...but its airbrush.

  • whats up, whats up, whats up..lol

    stupid bitch

  • Gorgeous TITS!!! :-P

  • the girl looks snobby.

  • that foo kinda looks like spm lol pero he gets down thats sum bad ass airbrushing

  • Annoying lady: " WHAT'S UP WHAT'S UP WHAT'S UP?!?!"

    Me: "Nothing..."

  • Twenty...Six...YEARS!! Damn thats dedication AND he's a latino this afro-Jamarican can love.. Respect!

  • Double action Airbrush from Iwata is the best. I prefer HP-C-plus, Custom Micron CMC-plus, Eclipse and such. Some people use Pashe but I dont like them bc of needle too thick and some plastic in parts. Iwata is all metal and if u decide to get Iwata make sure u get O-ring solvent proof. Have fun Airbrushing!

  • @02011982 i recently bought myself an iwate revolution sar (i'm a beginner) but does these have solvent proof O-rings? and if not where can i get those?

i'm using water based paints now but over time i want to try out urethanes

    grtz

  • You do some beautiful free hand work.

  • watz ap watz ap watz ap

  • is that a single action airbrush?...you move on up to a more professional airbrush like a double action airbrush

  • Dude, you didnt just ask that. The only people who use single action airbrushes are sign painters and general dumbasses. You can get a nice Badger airbrush kit (minus compressor) for $60, or an Iwata BCS plus (like I have) for about $120. I've had both, the Badger has a lot of plastic, the Iwata is 100% metal and mirror polished finish.

  • this guy did my bike hes in the fresno/fowler area Cali. if u need a mural done LOOK HIM UP XD NOW

  • can an airbrush actually drip?

  • yes it can if applied alot of presure

  • I'm curious to know the brand of paint you're using. The white seems to flow so well.

  • im amazed at how he has such skill while using the trashest airbrush that i can think of.. its a paasche... Great Job... i guess it isnt the tools its the painter.. nah but seriously that paasche thing gives people headaches...

  • whats wrong with paasche vl,im thinkihg of getting it one..

  • Its such a headache to clean and wut not.. and i HEARD they dont last very long... i used mine for like a month then bought a badger then bought an iwata... i kinda think iwatas are a bit overrated as well... i mainly like to use my badger model 150 pro... just personal preference

  • She is the most annoying girl ever

  • omg, he's FABULOUS (: i LOVE him! <3 <3 (:

  • I like how you stood up for your hard work a bit, a lot of people think art is just some magical gift that takes no effort, but the real dedicated and successful artists are ones that put in a life time of hard work and development of "the gift". nice work.

  • Only what i hate on that video is that silly girl -.- whats up whats up whats up -.- anyway nice airbrushing :)

  • i give him props for using the paschee vl its not that good for fine detail

  • nice

  • AWESOME ! Exelent free hand skills !

  • this beaner is sick!!!!

  • Man That magic guy is SiK !!!!!!!!!

  • Magik you rock man. What an example of the American dream.

  • To say that its just a talent is in many ways an insult...If you spent thousands of hours practising something to get it right you'd say it was hard work not a talent...although I'm sure that the potential of a gifted person is far greater than that of an average one.Rockin' paintjob ,Magik you are the man!

  • Is that you Mark?

  • amazing

  • aww, man, that would be so the wrong industry to get in to. One little accident and your life times work just... well... ugh, on the back of a pick-up, in several pieces.

  • That just goes to show how little you know about artistic genius. This guy can't mess up because a true artist can always fix a mistake without having to erase or ruin the project. It's a win-win situation for a guy like magik.

  • Hey, you didn't really get what I was saying. Don't have a go at me. And as for artistic genius as you attribute to Magik. He's a professional artist, so am I. We may use different mediums, but we still get attributed with the same level of 'mark'. And I respect another artists work, like Magik's, a lot.

I was refering to an accident, as in an R.T.A. A pickup plowing in to your bike, or whatever, when it's just parked up, showing off the many, many hours of love... what a terrible waste.

  • There is a difference between someone with the gift and someone who does not have the gift. The gift is being able to pull bad ass shit out of nowhere, not playing with stencils and thinking you're an artist.

  • I completely agree, apart from the use of bad language.

  • i thought it said "toothbrush art" when i clicked on the video. this is cool too though

  • Magik...you are amazing! There is a natural

talent that some people just have! You've

got it! I can sing!!! Come see me sing for

    you while you airbrush!!! ~wink

    Great work Magik! 5 stars * * * * *

    ..~♥ღ`*.¸.*´ღ♥.Ashley Marlene~

  • i no

  • love the windows screensaver in the background. Hot shit!

  • i will not deny that its really amazing but some of the bikes seemed a bit ott.

  • dammn that beaner gets down!!

  • This guy looks like he's using my paasche, except he's about 1,000 times better with it then me. lol

  • Wow, now that guy is good.

    Denise, wow your dorky.

  • Hi, I own a Paasche VL and I just can´t make fine lines, everytime I get close to the surface, the paint splats turning into "spiders" or "fireworks". Can you give me some advice about the proper paints and air pressure? Thanx so much!

  • You can lower your air pressure. Your paint might also be thined too much. Adjusting these two elements should solve your problem. The VL also has an adjustable trigger screw to set your trigger for fine lines.

  • Couln't agree more i've got both and never thought you could get those results with a Passche VL

  • holy crap, that bike is tight as fuck

  • hey man whats up? whats a good air brush to start out with? nice work! i wish i could do that

    -Dave

  • he is very good with a single-action airbrush!!

  • I use a Badger. I own several Pasches and a ThayerChandler. But I always go back to the Badger. I think most would think I am crazy for not using the Pasche, but I think the tool is pretty irelevant: all they do is spray paint. I can get parts to in a day to rebuild my badger & then its like new. Thats what counts to me.

I never start a project without replacing the guts of my brush.

  • Good job,

  • pretty cool,to free hand like that takes a very special talent, your good

  • Cool

  • yes it´s a pasche vl, its a nice and fair airbrush, but the iwata has some great models for automotive airbrushing, i want a eclipse hp-cs

by the way great airbrushing, to freehand like that you have to get skills :)

    nice video

  • I use Iwata, I went from pasche vl3 to Iwata and got hooked. Great airbrush for detail work.

  • is the iwata hp custom a good airbrush for small detail?

  • Yeah..for me it is. But its a great brush. Iwata is known for its detail work.

  • iwata is expensive, try infinity 2 n 1 from germany,can do .15mm

  • Your right Iwata is expensive..but its made my money back for me so..not so bad. But yeah..Infinity is good..Ive heard.

  • true because it's not an iwata he's holding.

  • do u do a dvd that i can buy that can show me some techniques because i am 15 years old and have bought a compressor and an airbrush. aswell do u know of anywhere or site that i can get some cheap airbrush paints from and that would ship to the uk w/b plz

    p.s thanks for the inspiration

  • ill help ya

well it sorta depends if the hood is smooth or not but if its is smooth yeh just paint the artwork onto the hood and then put the laca (clear) on the top of the art work once it has dried

hope this is some help to ya :)

  • if i want 2 do a mural on a hood of a car do i have 2 sanded down n primer it n paint it all over?? or can u just draw da mural over da paint n den put clear over it?

  • If the paint and the body work is good, you might want to use a scotch brite pad to scuff up th surface to give the paint some tooth to stick on to. If the paint has a few imperfections you can sand the surface with 2000 ultra fine sand paper wet to smooth out the surface.

  • Oh, and make sure to use a good silicon, wax and grease remover too get out any contaminates that can cause heart ache.

  • well da hood dont have dents or nuttin its smooth.....so u think i should just draw ontop of it den apply da clear?

  • Yes, just make sure you prep it well as advised.

  • wen i aply a new paint job wat do i have 2 use 2 thin up da paint?

  • THATS ART RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!!

  • nice, nice, nice... i didnt know a cheap VL airbrush could laydonw that detail! but dude u have quite sum talent!

Paint to live, Live to paint!

  • The airbrushes price had nothing to do with it. I bet you could give that guy a crayon and he'd do work! any art tool is gold in the hands of a pro.

  • im really gonna have to hand it to you man you really are good ive only bin doingit for one year most people dont belivethat but its true im a airbrush artist fromtacoma washingtona nd i liket he way freehand stuff comes out so i really gonna say kudos onthe not useing so much stencils !!

  • Hey thanks, I always had been a freehand purist. I love the look of freehand, as I mentioned in the video, freehand has a unique look, a soft dream like appearance. Check out my other video "Wicked trunk" I show you can use stencils to get your proportions and layout composition and then soften your stencil edges to blend with your freehand work. Watch my hand movements they are fluid and smooth, like I am conducting an orchestra, lol.

  • sick ass kat

  • i have the VL. i got it for my birthday 6 days ago but im having problems with it. i dont kno if its me or the compressor, airbrush or wat ever though. I get random like water splashes. i put on a moister trapper 2 days ago and i have less of it but still im tryin to draw a thin line then the paint splashes and just starts going in all directions. its a pain in the ass. and it got worse when i tried with transparent paint. i want to be able to do what magik can do but i dont kno.

  • The VL is a good little airbrush. I also use an Iwata Eclipse se. You may still have some moisture in your line. Be sure to completely drain your tank as well. Make sure your paint is not thined to much or your pressure to high.

  • nice work ,keep rockin

  • tight work i wish every one of my customers would give me the go ahead to airbrush my own style. freehand can definitely be faster if you have a great imagination like yourself, great show thanks,

  • i like her boobies too!

  • solid work man.....u cant learn that, i airbrush also and ive been drawing since before pre school...its a gift from god..

    keep it up peace

  • Heyyy thanxxx por la informacion karnal, that help me a lot, thanxx a million

  • do u use a single or double action airbrush

  • the one hes using is a single i would think because it looks a lot like mine which is the paasche not sure on the model tho i have the H which is nice

  • I am using a double action Paasche VL model. Double action are excellent for freehanding. You can go from a thin line to a wide fan in one stroke.

  • what is the needle size and tip of your paasche vl

  • I am using a med. needle and tip. i actuallt used a badger 150 for the first ten years as a pro. But honestly, it really your skills as an artist that matters..

  • @beastiesmovie1957 whats your opinion on the badger 150 cause im looking at buying one from a friend

  • that shit is awesome dude im into drawing the same type of stuff not as good but i try. got an airbrush just need to make some time for myself to get back into my art work and figure out the damn. nice vid i enjoyed watching it,made me wanna go use my airbrush.

  • great work. I'm a professional artist as well for past 13 years. I was board and browsing through videos wondering if I would ever see any experienced work on here. I must say that's some bad ass stuff man.

    James,

    Hybrid Image, Inc.

  • Actually , other than the clearjob and buffing, i think the airbrush artists art skills are hurting and lacking. He would do well to pick up a pencil and get back to some drawing basics. Also, He would do well to remember that using some hard edges (mask) interplaying with soft edges(freehand) in his art makes it aesthetically more pleasing to the viewers eye. It just goes to show you, just because you hire an attractive spokeswoman to hype up your art, ... it doesnt.

  • Love to see your airbrush videos, maybe I can pick up a few pointers.

  • CHARTRESGREENMAN....ur a complete fukin faggot, this guy is a ful pro hes amazing. but yeh yea ur probly ryt, ur probly better, all ur great air brushing vids ur definatly better acully. fukin homo

  • i am better, my bikes have won trophies, i jus dont put my abilities on videos to try and prove to asswipes like u that i need your lameass critiques.your a lil obsessed with the word "homo" arent u? hhmmm, sounds like you think about homos alot.... hm prob because you ARE a homo......

  • .... yes i said homo 1ns.......u said it 3 times.......ur a complete loser aye, i bet ur some fat fuker with no life that sits on youtube saying "nah ur not a very good rider, but im a pro". get a life m8. but yeh i fogot ur the best airbrusher since slided bread..........wank stan!

  • She's an amazing interviewer. She should go pro.
