Thank god for Peaches and Herb! The world needs more of this type of music nowadays, especially with all of the violence throughout the world. This type of music really warms my heart!
Thank you so much for sharing the new Peaches and Herb! Keep on spreading that sweet love! I cant wait to see what else this beautiful new singer has to offer! Its gunna be hot!!
Pure Money Right here!!! The new peaches ls outstanding! Stunning and not to mention an excellent addition to soul music! I think I might have to go and buy that new album now!!
Man, this Peaches is GOOD! She’s all over YOUTUBE singing tributes to Chaka, Whitney, Selena, Diana Ross, Etta James. I’m trying to see if she put out a new album.
Why brothas and sistas hatin on this incredible singer? She may be latina but from what I see, she's very good. I would love to hear them record “Reunited” in Spanish... talk about a P&H revival.
Understanding why Herb hired the Latin Queen of Soul as “Peaches” is too deep for non-music lovers. Get schooled listening to her original material like Sista, Sista on her CD the Mertixell Project (El Proyecto Meritxell)
Haters, check out Wikipedia for the FACTS: Meritxell Negre was the 3rd and last female recording artist to record with Herb Fame (founder of Peaches & Herb). The proof is the high-energy, super-soulful CD, "Colors of Love" put out by Imagen Records in 2009. Prior to then, P&H had not recorded for 26 years. In 2010, Meritxell, a.k.a the Latin Queen of Soul, also had the honors of touring as "Peaches." But, she separated from the duo to pursue her own musical endeavors. She's HOT!
It's not the same. Peaches and Herb weren't just a Black couple, they were the epitome of Black Love. Through their music, they inspired struggling Black couples to keep on keeping on.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...A NEW PEACHES????? BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
this is so sad. Po herb is out there trickin on 5 different women tryin to find the next peaches. Now ya know, he trickin, he's up there skinnin' and grinnin' too hard to not be trickin
@winrx true this is a get into this ethnic vein thing,..they feel he has the so called black fans already, there is no chemistry there either between thgem two
@Number1UltimateMJFan Actually, Linda Greene (who sang Shake Your Groove Thing and Reunited) was the SECOND Peaches on recordings and the third Peaches overall. The original Peaches was Francine Hurd, who sang Close Your Eyes with Herb in the 60's. Anyway, to answer your question, Linda Greene released a few gospel albums and returned to family life.
Mertixell. You Go Girl. Very Proud of you! Keep it groovin! :)

She's got some PIPES. Y’all heard her sing “Sista, Sista” or Chaka Khan joints??? Crazy alto and soprano range!

If she was good enough to do backup for Maysa and record an album with Herb, she’s a certified SISTA!

This will not work, a new Peaches, please. She has shoes that she cannot fill.

She actually sounds really good. Have you listened to the new CD?
