I used to have most of these, including Bomb Man. But hey, who knew that these would be collectibles some day? The goofiest part was that huge ball of fire Megaman came with that shoots out of his cannon; it was so heavy it barely fell out :D

I saw a Cut Man figure at a store years before knowing about the show, and I wanted it SO BADLY.

...Then I saw the actual show.

I was so filled with disgust, that I didn't even play Mega Man for a while.

@Kristanni20X6 Not quit but Captain N was made in the 80's and it was produced by DIC, and DIC,s producers are both high and retarded they screw every thing up see there verson of G.I.Joe for example, this on the other hand was produced in the 90's and made by Rubey Spears, which is a fairly respected and competent televison company, they should know better and made the show closer to the games.

I heard bomb man is the rarest out of the set. Coincidentally, bomb man was the only one out of the set my family bought way back in the early 90s. Ready for disgust? My older brother and I were too little at the time to understand the novelty of collectibles, and we used bomb man as a bath toy for seven years (I'm 4 years younger than him) before THROWING IT AWAY. 20/20 hindsight...

@Segasaturn95 You're right. Bomb Man is very rare due to of it being banned because of the Oklahoma bombing. But, I've seen MOC Elec Man sell for even more ($70+) -- Sorry for the loss of your Bomb Man.. :(

I could never find the second wave of figures where I lived. The Target got one shipment in which I managed to get Snakeman and Drillman out of, but Elecman was nowhere to be found. That especially sucks since Elecman was supposed to be released in the first wave (according to the MMX2 instruction manual) , but for some reason they held off. If only they had Ebay when i was a kid so I could have imported some Japanese ones :(

I latter on came across a Cutman figure as well... I wish I still had them... :/

I've had to move around a LOT in my youth and well some stuff just had to be left behind to make way for other things... Oh how I wish I could go back then & save them... :/

Then again Gutsmans ass was getting pretty thrashed from all the projectile attacks... :P

This commercial was uploaded in higher quality by two people on YouTube; however, nearly all of both recordings were uploaded, which the part where Mega Man aims before shooting is missing. Why not go buy a tool that can easily record portions of VHS tapes into formats like .AVI and .MOV?

That was a clever idea for a Mega Man Gimmick. Giving him the ability to shoot other character's weapons. I never really liked the cartoon, actually kinda wanted these toys because I still loved the video games XD

well i wouldn't call it rare.. the commericial aired quite reguarly while the toys were hot. the only thing making it rare is the fact that it doesn't air anymore.. and with that logic, every commerical from the past is "rare"

Besides, American cartoons are more aimed at comedy than action.

But, there are still lots of badass action cartoons made in America that whoop anime's ass any day, like The MAXX, for example. Seeing a giant purple hulking multi-dimensional schizophrenic without a lower jaw kill corrupted creatures from his original dimension in the streets of what's supposedly a ratty Brooklyn is much better than any anime I've seen.
