The greatest game ever - i remember when i first got it and having played it for 5 minutes thought : "what the hell is this crap" and switched it off and returned it to the shop. Then i got it back, can't remember why, think my younger brother bought it. Watched him play for a while and was hooked.. suppose that was the problem, you have to show a bit of patience to realise what a truly awesome game this is.

You forget that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Is Shenmue a great game? Definitely. Is CoD4 a great game? Quite surely, given it's popularity. This plays during the flashback sequences of Iwao Hazuki, like when you visit the tree, look at the sign in the Dojo and the food on the kitchen table on the first day to activate the scenes. Very sad piece of music.

shenmue 3 will never get released, sega doesnt want to take any more risks in losing money thats why, if the dreamcast was still alive they would of done it, although i believe the dreamcast is still alive within all of us deep down.

excatily, I've been a fan of shenmue since i was 5, i love this game. but I've known that shenmue 3 is almost out of the question since shenmue 2, becuase it didn't do so well, and that sega WON'T take risks anymore.

Unfortunately they only come with the limited edition version in which is shorter variety.

I got the normal one, but you can listen to quit a few tracks on the Passport disc like you said but the other special features disc which would have been the 5th disc was only included with the limited edition Shenmue copies.

I am with you 100%. I wish they make a Shenmue 3, i think the idea is in the works maybe even early game design but if not i hope they do begin to make a 3rd very soon. Make it more like the first one as that is probably the best representation of what china/japan feels like. Its just a great game and probably the best game i ever played. Love the all round feel of this game when i first played it and the gameplay was perfect. Please Shenmue3 has to be done. Imagine how it would look on NextGen!

ahh this is my fav song on the whole game.. it has two vers. rite? i bought the entire soundtrack when i started my v first work.. it was a one day job.. my pay was 75bucks and i spent 70bucks for the entire album.. lol.. no regrets spendin that money... it's classic...!!!

This song is so greaaaaaaaat!. If i remember right, a part of this song also plays in Shenmue II when Ryo and Shenhua are walking in the forest. Really great.
