  • whts the black thing on the other side of whear u r puttin the stickss in

  • @jeremylee99100 It is a shredding bin...it can lower and you can rake leaves in...or leave it up and just put loose pieces into the machine for shredding.

  • @Turbo231 o thanks

  • Were you able to post a video of blade sharpening? I was able to get the big blade off but not the small ones.

  • After watching what this could do I came accross one on Craig's List and it did not nearly do the job yours is doing. The former owner said he sharpened the blades but I am guessing he didn't because the pieces discharged are pretty big... I was hoping for mulch not sticks. Where might I be able to find an owners manual so I know how to properly sharpen the blades? These posts have been a big help!!

  • Most manufacturers have a website with owners manuals and such. and yes...she needs her blades sharpened.

  • I know I should be able to find one on line but I have not been able to... that is how I found your video. If it's not too much trouble can you look in your manual and send me the website?! I don't want to tear it apart, sharpen the blades and then not be able to get it put back together.

  • Yeah..if not, I'll scan a few pages of mine...and better yet, I'll show you how it's done on mine...very simple to do...I'll film it this weekend. :)

  • You rock. Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it.

  • looks like saw dust instead of chippings

  • As the blades get dull, the chippings get longer and longer. Resharpening the blades, yes, it does look like sawdust.

  • Man if you want to keep your hands, keep them out of the chute..

It's scary watching you use that machine.

  • Crazy as in good? How big are the chips created before vrs after? Can you use any of it as mulch?

  • Yes...crazy as in good. Before sharpening, the chips were getting longer and longer...upwards of one to two inches. After sharpening the chips were uniform in size, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch, a great size for mulch.

  • that's a good machine you have there. works better than mine

  • I thought it worked great until I sharpened the blades for the first time...now it's crazy! It's getting a finer chipped material and the engine isn't working as hard on the big stuff.
