Lucky you because this anime doesn't have yaoi, too bad for us (people who love yaoi) but we can always dream. People will love something or hate something(like you) for no reason at all. So enjoy what you have instead of trying to understand why others are not the same as you.

lol animes that swear a lot...I don't think i have seen any... I recommend Monster for a kickass story line but for violent animes my favorite are Berserk and Gungrave. Have you watched Higurashi? that one is extremely violent! oooh i just remember one! i watched it with my brothers and they were grossed out at all the violence: X 1999 (the movie, not the tv series) i don't think any anime can top this one...you'll see heads flying around lol I laugh now but I cried before.

i watched elfin lied and that was VIOLENT cos i saw a dude's head ripped off and some dude ripped in half(by mind powers O-o ) but it was too dirty ther was tooooo much naked stuff ( im serious her boobs arent coverd at all o-O)

I heard about Elfin Lied but I didn't watch it because I don't like ecchi...I watched Berserk 7 years ago, and it's my #1 favorite anime^^ the story gets so much better!! I usually don't mind the art as long as the story is good...X 1999 is also old..but I'm having a hard time finding a good NEW anime, I always drop them by the 3rd episode *sights* the only I liked was No.6, have you watched it? the story is good and animation, well hope you enjoy them if you ever check them out!

The creator of this manga/anime said that she originally made Hisoka as a girl but changed her mind at the last minute and decided to give Tsuzuki a male partner. I wonder why she changed her mind, making the story ALMOST BL but stating in the manga that it is shoujo, it just makes me angry. I would have preferred to see this as a complete yaoi or with hisoka as a girl just to see some romance.

Tsuzuki has a big sex appeal...I understand why almost everyone in the anime falls for him, even the fangirls! since they always show who they dislike: either Muraki or Hisoka but I have yet to find anyone who dislikes Tsuzuki. I think he's even hotter when he gets serious or mad.

If you're refering to the guy with brown hair and glasses, he's called "Tatsumi" but Tsuzuki is better anyways, especially when he gets the ears and paws =3

The band is Hong Kong Kinfe, i think. I love this song lol After watchign the anime SO many times, (makes me laugh cuz its so ridiculous) it grew on me. I love the violin in this song and the energetic guitars.

I do enjoy the ending and I do enjoy the series. Those who are going to read the manga the creator has put a side note in vol.1 that it is not a yaoi series. Really this series is a shoujo. Also the ending was okay. I have seen worse endings to with other series.

I have the dvd box set and I can't wait to get the manga x3 perfect for newbies to yaoi because it doesn't show TOO much but leaves the rest to your imagination, meaning: kids, you can ask your parents to download it cuz it's not graphic in any shape or form! 8D

From what I understand there is no love relationship, but Tatsumi is protective of him because he used to be his partner. He probably knows alot more about Tsuzuki(sp) than most of the other characters besides his current partner.

There are only implying scenes...the most seen is when Hisoka has the quick flashback of when he was raped by Muraki, but there bodies where shadowed so you can't see anything.

Because in guy/girl stuff, some girls could get to become jealous of the girl in the story. Or they picture themselves at the girl in the story. It can be a bit bothersome at times.

PS: This series is not yaoi. It's slightly shonei-ai and has some hints and stuff but it's not really yaoi.

Yami no Matsuei isn't just another yaoi anime. It has a really good plot and some interesting twists. It has fantasy and some death and blood, its funny moments and loveable characters and its completely crazy bad guy. >.> And it's sad parts. I thought it was really good. I'm planning on putting up the episodes. So you should take a look. You might like it. ^_^ I did! *glomps characters*
