i played in redan band at that jamboree....trombones on deck!!! but anyways i just wanna know why we all can get along....whitehaven is a really great band but so are we....i am pretty sure we can all have different views and opinions but why fight...? its just like us(redan) against swd...and we got even more schools against us.its sad wen u cant depend on schools in yo county and then u got outta state schools that come and make bad comments...and im sure that neither of us need that..forreal

Volume wise these clips really don't dictate a huge difference between the two at full power. It is more of an effect difference. WHS is like a 100watt 10 inch speaker and Redan is a 100watt 12 inch speaker. The ten will play with more intensity and the 12 plays with a broader sound, but it's still the same wattage. I'm not sure but after dropping in on a few other groups this is about the best battle I've seen for the event.

Redan had a larger sound and more of a field presence however............

Whitehaven had more musciality.......you could hear every dynamic they put in every song thats the arrangement and commitment to MUSIC......but this song did it for me for the entire day this song showed marching band music at its best. Understand they played this in Redan backyard and got ooooohs from the Redan crowd at the right times.........HATS off to WHITEHAVEN!!!!

the videos that have been posted do not show all the sound from Redan or whitehaven so i cant say we won or they one this was a good battle im just mad we had to leave right after we played i wanted had a stand battle
